It's hard to say how I am at this point. I've never done too well with organized... things. I don't respond very favorably to authority figures. I don't really listen to people unless I respect them. To gain respect, you have to be smart, essentially.

I have a lot of questions. I think of myself as shrewd. I want to understand. I want everything to make sense. And I think that may be holding me back in all this. I need to fully understand the rules before I will willingly play by them.

I have a friend on a different website who wants to be a Christian but because of the undisclosed and unaccounted for DISCRIMINATION she feels UNABLE TO ....CONNECT.... so please be merciful and may God bless her through your prayers .

thank you for your kindness.

When you're a VICTIM--you can't help it. Everything surmounts THAT.
When you're a VICTIM--you try and fail. REPEATEDLY no matter how
many times you TRY YOUR HARDEST you fail.
When you're a VICTIM you think EMOTIONALLY or you shut off, emotionally.
MOST VICTIMS are emotionally NUMB and don't feel ANYTHING and they like it that way--would rather feel nothingness and shut off. that TO THEM IS SAFETY.
you feel secure when you don't feel anything and can numb out with drugs or alcohol.
a sidenote.

I have some serious problems with people who are mean to homosexual people simply for what they are. I don't like discrimination, especially if the people can't help what their preferences are. But, it really made a lot of sense when someone told me that God may have made them that way, but they can still try to be better. You can always try to be better. This hit home with me in regard to purity. I am trying to be better, even though I've made some terrible mistakes. You can always try to be better. You don't have to give up and just live with the hand you're dealt.

"What good is your yes if you can't say no?" This really helped sort out some things and make my convictions stronger.

I still don't like how the Bible talks about women. I realize that that's how it was at that time, but I'm kind of a feminist and I don't like to hear about women being anything less than equal.

Father,

In the name of Jesus Christ we ask that you help ksaraah to understand that you do not support discrimination or hatred of any kind, but that you are love and that you support love toward you and love toward our fellow humans.

Help her to understand that you do not like sin (after all, sin hurts us), but that you do love all humans even though we all sin. Help her to understand all of what the Bible says about men and women...that they are to yield to one another.

Please consider ksaraah 's situation and help her in every way that you see is best.

Thank you for all that you will do. Amen.
