I remember being in school (2nd grade) when our teacher told us that the president had been shot. When man first walked on the moon, I remember looking out my bedroom window at the moon for a long time just thinking about how there was life up there on that night. I wasn't the only one having to deal with those dumb pink rollers....ugggg... made your head hurt... Not me. Uh uhh. No way. No pink rollers for me. I remember my mom had those nasty gray pokey rollers, though.

I don't think I wore darned socks, but I do remember putting clear fingernail polish on runs in my hose. I also remember wearing fish net hose.

I remember darned socks. My mother taught me to put a light bulb or ball or something round in the end of the sock to darn the heel.
