I don't know if that was a slip of the fingers or not, but it sounds like a great wish for everyone. I like it.

Have a God Day everyone!

It's Sunday here, so it is a God day. Mind you, every day is a God day.

This is true, every day is God's day.

Sometime our mistakes, are used for God's glory.

Hi Trish,

It was a lazy day. I did some house cleaning and laundry. Watched some football. Went to the store for soem things. I'm leaving town Wednesday to go to my mother's for Thanksgiving, so I did not need to buy groceries, just some milk.

I belong to a local photo club and we will have an exhibition in December and the local Art Center. A girl from church, whom I have known since she was an infant, (her parents are my age) has joined the group and this is the first time she has put her photographs on display. She asked me to stop by, (they live down the block). She had some questions about matting and framing her work. The pieces she is going to show look really good.

So, anyway, it has been a good day.

Glad you've had a good day. I've had a quiet weekend so far. Being sick really hoovers. Oh well, at least it's giving me a chance to get some Christmas cards written.

Be back in a little while. Better go and feed Bailey breakfast. (He's a 3 year old spaniel/poodle cross).

I'm so glad I didn't miss any pain and gore. I'd have been so disappointed! I have a friend who is a contractor. He was using a paint gun and it seemed to be clogged. He put his finger to the muzzle and pulled the trigger! Yep, he got a finger full of latex paint and the dr. had to slice along both sides of his finger to let the paint work its way out. Definitely NOT the smartest thing he's ever done!

Hi, Deeds, welcome to my little corner of the forums. The people I have met here have been great.

Thankful, Ouch! My experience with a paint sprayer is not as painful but still very frustrating. I bought one of those little home use sprayers and tried to paint my grarage with it. It was a complete failure. Had to do the job by roller.

Well, the good thing about that is, it's very difficult to hurt yourself with a paint roller! I know what you mean though, they always look like they'll do the job perfectly in mere moments and then it takes 3 times as long when they don't work!

I'm leaving Wednesday to go see my mother, sister and BIL.

Never had any accidents with tools. I'm too scared to do anything in case something happens.

I got an extension pole that extended out to 12 feet. I painted the whole garage without having to get on a ladder.

I know what you mean. When I'm home I have a ton of things to do, but when I am my mother's there it not much to do but watch TV, unless I have someplace to go.

yeah, well, I don't exactly like my MIL. I love her because she's my MIL, but if she weren't my husband's mom I'd not want anything to do with her.

And now she's watching Harry Potter. Something I don't really care about. She keeps blabbing. She never shuts up. I don't get it. Why can't she just be quiet???? I think she just likes to hear her own voice.

Oh dear .... I'm complaining. I think I'm a bit on teh cranky side an dmight need to go to my room for some time alone before I say something I'll later regret.

Forgive me while I roll my eyes briefly at her.

You don't want to be here, Christine?

Gary, if you lived closer, you could come to my house.

I don't wanna be at my MILs.

I love being on CW!!!!

It's keeping me from saying something I'll later regret.

Christine,

I've just said a prayer for you that God will fill you with his grace while you are at you MIL's. You might need a good night's sleep, too.

Gary

Thanks Gary.

yes...good night's sleep will work wonders.

My vitamin B will help too. I didn't take that today since I didn't exactly go to bed last night so I didn't get up this morning.

On the plus side, I will be at my FIL's tomorrow and Monday nights so I have 2 MIL free days. My FIL is MUCH easier to deal with.

Ah, ok. Now I understand. I wondered why you wouldn't want to be at CW.
