What a/c?

Did I have breakfast or lunch at 1pm (about an hour after I woke up) this morning?

A/C is air conditioning.

I'll guess you had brunch.

Do you have a pet?

When do you turn the A/C on in your house?

Whenever it gets too warm. Somewhere around 85.

What kind of weather are you having today?

I know what a/c is. I didn't ask what it was. I asked 'what a/c' ie I don't have a/c.

Sunny and warm with some showers.

I misunderstood the A/C thing.

But you forgot a question, so I'll just ask my last one again.

Do you have a pet?

Yes, I have a cat.

Are you looking forward to Christmas?

No, I have another child. She's my baby... well, now that she's a cat, and not a kitten, I guess she generally owns me now. This morning, she fussed and hollered until I left the office and sat on the couch... then she purred, and coo'ed. She does not like the routine to be changed. I MUST be in the living room in the morning. Don't know what she's going to do when I go back to work.

Does your pet "speak" to you?

Yes I am.

Since he understands 100's of words "smart dog" does know how to communicate what he wants without "speaking" although he does bark loudly and will also sigh when he seems frustrated.

Do you prefer paper or plastic bags?

Actually I prefer the reusable bags that all the grocery stores have now.

If you could have any talent, what would you choose?

Neither! I try to bring my canvas bags to the store, but if I don't, I prefer plastic... they're great for lining trash cans and taking out kitty litter.

Not really, I don't have any money this year, but it'll be nice to spend the time with family. One of my cousins, whose immediate family is far away, has been joining us for Thanksgiving and Christmas these past few years, so we've enjoyed having him over. Some of our family might "make the rounds" and visit for a short time. I always enjoy that.

I take my own bags ~ not sure what 2 of them are made of, 2 are string bags though.

To be able to sing.

Surely this is more what Christmas is about (spending time with loved ones) than having money?

I love it................as long as it's not played before Thanksgiving.

What is your favorite Christmas song?

I forgot another question.

Why don't the Brits have Thanksgiving?

Well, I guess because the pilgrims came to America. . . Is there a British equivalent? If not there should be. . . you should start one, agapetos!

Is your house clean right now?

Uhhh ... sort of. I have unpacked and half-packed boxes in my closet. I also have some things in the living room that ought not be there. But everything could be cleaned up in about 10 minutes (which I'll probably do before I go to sleep ... maybe).

How is it that when QVC or the Home Shopping Network introduces a "new" product, they always have some person call in that says that they have that product and just love it love it LOVE IT? Why doesn't anyone ever say - "I have that product and it was ok. don't know if I would buy it again ..."

I don't watch QVC enough to know if it's the same person, but they are a bit biased in how much they rave about the product.

Why do we have to clean baths? Surely they are self-cleaning.

Looks like you answered your own question.

I'm not sure you'd think they'd be self cleaning. You could try not cleaning yours and letting us know how that works for you.

What are you having or did you have for lunch today?

Two boiled eggs, barley bread (home-made), a bowl of vegetable soup and an apple.

Do you wear socks all year or just in winter?

All year. I spend a lot of time on my feet and there is just a concrete slab under the carpet.

How many Bibles do you own?

Too many. I have at least 6, maybe more. I'm not at home, so I can't count.

Do you prefer silence or background noise while you read?

You can't count when you're not at home? Interesting. Not the question for the thread BTW.

It depends how difficult the reading is, silence if it's difficult otherwise it doesn't matter.

What type of music do you listen to the most?

No, I couldn't count my Bibles while away from home 'cuz I couldn't see 'em! Ok, I'm home now so I counted... I have 8.

Whatever's on my ipod... usually praise & worship, even some stuff we listen to in church.

What should I do in the next two hours until my meeting tonight?

Try to catch your own trout.

What do like to read? (Note: not what you have to read but like to read).

That's the only thing I can't watch! I'm more likely to tense up as they're putting the needle in.

Take a guess.
