dark chocolate with nuts is The Best. Ok, chocolate with creamy mint is nice now and then. BTW, anyone remember the ChunkyBar? It is very hard to find those now-a-days. My daughter bought me one for CHristmas once, since I had mentioned that I liked them but seldom see them anymore.

I like chocolate but wouldn't say I love it. I like milk chocolate, or dark, so long as it isn't too bitter. White chocolate is . I sometimes like chocolate with almonds, but chocolate and mint or chocolate and peanut butter isn't my thing (except for peanut butter m&m's). I also like chocolate with coffee crumbles in it, but that's harder to find. I LOVE chocolate covered pretzels, or really anything that combines salty with chocolate. I've had Danish chocolate sliced thin for eating on bread (yum!), and Toblerone, but I don't know if that one counts as chocolate from other countries.

I used to think I was allergic to all chocolate, until we moved to Europe. I am only allergic to the American versions of chocolate. BELGIUM chocolates are the best ever!!!!!!!! I think I'm allergic to American chocolate too.

I voted for everything except for hate it, allergic, and can't live without it. I like, WAY TOO MUCH. But I can live w/o. Before my illness, I didn't care for it, but afterwards it changed some of my food tastes.

I don't examine myself anywhere near as often as I should. It's really bad considering my mother developed breast cancer and had to have a mastectomy. I don't find it easy to do the exams as my breast tissue is naturally lumpy. Would be hard to distinguish between normal and abnormal tissue.

I check every month for changes. Breast cancer runs in our family, so all us gals check and get checked regularly. I have a hard time getting checked, so I don't do that part often....but I'm ALMOST 29.

I don't find it easy to do the exams as my breast tissue is naturally lumpy. Would be hard to distinguish between normal and abnormal tissue. I think that this is a problem many women have. However, something my doctor told me a couple of years back (when I saw her about a lump) was that lumps that are more worrying are ones that seem to be attached to the skin. I'm not suggesting that we go to the doctor every time we find a new lump, but we can 'monitor' our own breasts for changes. Some 'lumps' come and go through our cycle. The lump I had checked is simply excess tissue, something a lot of women have. It's nothing to worry about, but I know where it is and what it feels like. If I felt it changed at any time, I'd see my doctor about it. I suspect that most doctors and/or nurses would be happy to explain what women need to look for when examining their breasts of they're unsure ~ failing that, they could look it up online.

Over the last 10 years I've gotten extremely vigilant about my self exams. Now breast cancer doesn't run in my family or my husbands family, BUT I have a dear friend whom is a breast cancer survivor who has no family history either, and another dear friend of mine lost her daughter whom was in her early 20's to breast cancer a year ago this past September. There was no family history there either. And to those who are wary of mammograms - DON'T be! I promise they're not that bad! Blessings, Garsy
