We used to trick or treat but that was all. Then a few years ago Halloween was on Wed and they had Awana so now my kids are happy to skip TOTing if i just buy them some candy. Last night DS and DD2 were camping with their grandparents. DD1 and I were at the store and the candy was already on clearance sale so we bought them all some> then this AM we made up notes with clues for each of us (even DD1 and I) from "The great pumpkin" and hid their candy around the house for them to find

We don't do Halloween. It was a choice my husband and I made when we were first married, before we had children. I think one year, we did hand out "treats" ...they were tracts with candy attached....but that is the extent of it.

Well, Nathan had fun tonight. dH wanted the cousins to get together, so we went over to BIL and SIL's house. Nathan met baby cousin for the first time, and did a little ToTing. BIL, being his normal self, was uptight and grouchy (big family get togethers make him anxious). They didn't do many houses (again thanks to BIL), but Nathan didn't know the difference, and since I'd be eating the excess candy anyways, it's probably for the best.

We don't have plans. My friends used to have a party, not any more. I did a party at church on Wed, but not tonight. I did errands all day today. Got home late so not much ToT. We always took my nephew ToTing and he was not allowed to dress in scary stuff.

I'm a chocoholic who loves milk chocolate. Occasionally I'll eat dark or white chocolate. On occasion, I've have mint in my chocolate or fruit ad nuts. The bad thing as I am also diabetic. I try not to eat chocolate too much as it's not good for me. I've had chocolate from New Zealand, Australia and the US.

I said dark chocolate, other flavorings (cherry, etc) and other. I love dark chocolate, the darker (70%) the better. I like chocolate with chilli and chocolate with orange. I didn't say nuts, but some of the orange chocolate has almond slivers in it, which is wonderful. I tend to buy only Fair Trade chocolate (that's the other). Doesn't always happen, but I try. Never touch white chocolate.

I voted for every chocolate, with any kind of filling. My absolute favorites are peanut butter cups. I love them in white chocolate and in original.

I like chocolate, but am not a chocoholic. I like m&Ms, kit kats, almond joys and mounds bar. Occasionally Hershey's. I tried the healthy organic dark chocolate -it must be an aquired taste. LOL

I used to like flavoured chocolate a lot more than I do now. I won't eat chilli chocolate. I don't like cherries either. On occasion, I'll have chocolate with fruit and nut in it, but I wouldn't eat chocolate with peanut butter in it. I love orange chocolate.

I love dark chocolate (especially flavoured with orange or raspberry), love it with hazelnuts too; I also like milk chocolate, but really only high cocoa milk chocolate (49%). I really can't stand white chocolate. I buy it for the children, knowing I won't be at all tempted by it.

I like dark chocolate. The local store carries a really good Fair Trade dark with orange that is fantastic. PB cups are good as is mint but my absolute favorite is dark with cashews, caramel and dried cranberries. We also have a fantastic local chocolate maker and Mark buys me a small box every year for Christmas - he goes and picks out the pieces individually so he can get just what I like! Kris
