I inadvertently found something that has been working and I am also getting my water intake for the day. It is Wylers no sugar individual packets of flavoring for water. It is like Crystal Light but a lot less expensive. One box of eight is only $1.00. No more soda for me. I have found the darkness under my eyes has lightened and my skin is looking better, too. I was addicted to diet soda. I hated drinking just plain water. Now, I'm drinking about 64 oz of water a day. I've lost seven pounds since I posted this. Yeah!

What kind of sweeteners do they use instead of sugar? You may want to look into agave syrup. It's a natural product that is much sweeter than sugar and contains far fewer calories than sugar. I frequently fill a glass or jug with water and squeeze (I've just discovered how awesome reamers are!) some citrus fruit into it. It takes the plain taste of water away, but doesn't overpower the water with whatever citrus you've used.

Agave syrup is awesome. Except I didn't make the right adjustments when I made chocolate chip cookies with it. It turned out to be one, big, giant cookie that was ½ inch thick! I forgot to reduce the baking powder, and didn't realize the batter would soften so much when heated. quote:

cheescake. that would totally knock out my cravings.... mmmmm.... really though if i were more disciplined i'd say drinking a glass of water and waiting 15 mins is a good thing to do when the crazycraving hits. you may still need a snack but a little in your stomach can go a long way at tempering the wild beast that loses control and eats everything it can find (i mean, other people do that too right? not just me, right? coughcough...)
