My absolutely favorite bible tool (used almost every day) has changed a LOT!. I am not altogether pleased with the changes.

For starters, the file format changed from MS Access to SQL lite. That came with 9.0 which came out a few months ago. I am using 8.0 on this computer which came out in January 09. The change means all my old files need to be updated. That probably means I will have to re-purchase my NASB module. (on the plus side, they do have NKJV and NIV available in the new format)

I have not downloaded the new version, but when I install the upgrade to W7 I just got, I am afraid I will have to.

I do wish there was a Linux progam that could read these files in a similar way.

ESword's site(LINK) says 9.5 is good up to Win7. After you d/l it's 'setup951.exe'(same site)and installed then go to this [LINK]and LOGIN/ACCT.(upper right)you will receive codes for your other d/l-ed modules to d/l for free if the email/password agree at that time.

I logged in and downloaded and installed the updated format for NASB without extra cost.

Do you still have your password? I lost mine almost 7 years ago.

My browser remembered it. If you remember which email address you used, they should fix your logon.

I upgraded my mom's e-sword and she is upset about this because the clickable books of the bible that used to be on the left side of the page are now gone. I have looked for them in the page set up, but can't find them. ... and she also lost her nasb version.

The Bible list is now accessed by clicking on the open Bible.

Lockman has set up a user friendly download to update the NASV. All you need to know is your registration email address. If your mother changed her email address, then you will need to contact them with the old address and new address.
