I couldn't agree more, I get tired of those here who are stuck on using the name Barry Soetero or whatever when the real life Barrak Obama is dangerous enough, has enough of an agenda to keep us busy, and is spending like there is no tomorrow. It is a waste of time to worry about what name he might have gone under before he was old enough to make that decision, it is wasted time that takes away from addressing the real issues and gives the left ammo to marginalize opposing views.

Within the previous month we've had the feds take over or attempt to take over the student loan industry, passed the FY 2010 budget, and now the Senate and House are very close to finalizing a health care bill. The response is some guy named Barry Soertoro, a failed 10% or so ownership in an NFL franchise, and a name calling spat between B0 and Foxnews.
Does anyone even care about the amount of money that has been spent or will be spent or is minority ownership of the St. Louis Rams that important?

Remember, if a conservative doesn't like a media outlet they change to one they like.
If a liberal doesn't like a media outlet they try to shut it down and silence it.

I guess that you would consider ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, The New York Times, The LA Times, The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, and the like fair and balanced? If so, who are they fair and balanced to besides 0bama, the Democrat/liberal/socialist/fascist complex?

You know the more I think about it the more I take issue with the administration calling out Fox news. There is a freedom of the press in this country and I don't think that government officials should be calling out a news service in such a way. The president doesnt' have to give them an interview or the time of day and they can feel free to refute any claims made by the new source but government officials have no business browbeating a news source because it disagrees with the administrations policies. It would be miserable to have one's hands tied like that but the purpose of our bill of rights was precisely to tie the hands of the government to prevent them from steering the press or silencing those who don't agree wtih them.

Calling them out when they make material mistatements of fact is fine - actually it's necessary.
Cutting them off is just stupid and counterproductive.
I think there's an important distinction there.

Until there is a VIABLE third party that is the only option on the national level. Right now the few independents have to caucus with either the D's or the R's in order to have any input. Lieberman, Sanders and Jumpin' Jim Jeffords caucus with the D's.

Beck doesn't deal with facts he deals in innuendo, shaded half truths, fear mongering, anger, and then paints his half witted conspiracy theories. The present administration should simply ignore the Fox entertainers as confrontation serves no useful purpose other then to stoop down a few levels. Correcting misrepresentations and facts is one thing but the present stance simply gives them a credibility they don't deserve.

I apologize as I thought people were familiar with Beck's body of work, and that opinions vary as to the value of said work. Maybe we can start another thread so that you can become familiar with it...Rockefeller Center, Anita Dunn, Van Jones, etc.
*The details speak for themselves bring one up and let's discuss.......
You may find it interesting also that a Republican, one from the Bush admin., basically holds the same point of view on Beck's entertainment show!
