Mrs. K just told me an interesting story about our grandson.

His father (our son) is stationed at the Air Force Academy, where he works with new cadets. He also coaches his son's youth soccer team. The other team was short one player, so grandson volunteered to play for them. He then scored three goals for the other to give them a 3-0 lead.

At the break he switched back to his own team and scored three goals for them, and they eventually won 4-3, making him the leading scorer for each team.

Have we graduated to "corner" status? Or, is somebody just having a bad day?

HA! I love that!

And kudos to your grandson. Excellent boy. I've seen many times when one from the other team crosses over to make up a deficit that they don't play their best for the opponent.

I just thought I'd drop by to say "HI" I do not have any wit or wisdom to share, but I will wish you all a good day.

Kerr, please, tell your grandson he is doing good to be the leading scorer on both team. That is hard to do in one game.

Just thought I'd make my first post in the new thread. I haven't had coffee yet today but I think I should go grab some water.

The club had to close because too many people were negligent in the timely payment of dues.

Let's hope this situation improves.

LOL, dues ... what is this thing called dues?

It all makes sense now ... no rent ... tossed onto the street.

If you try to grab my water, you'll have more than that.

Oh no, although it's amazing how quickly people back down when I look at them. I'm not sure why.

In the case of grabbing my water, let's just say you'd have a lot more wet than just your hand.

We should all show up on his doorstep and pay our dues in person.

Kerr, stock the fridge and get the guestrooms ready!!! We haven't decided how long we'll stay.

We're all moving into Kerrlaw's house? How cool is that! I hope Mrs. Kerrlaw is making fresh lobster for dinner.

Nothing would make Mrs. K happier than cooking the lobsters that y'all bring with you.

In Maine when here friends had a dinner to which she was not invited, they would ask her to come over and cook the lobster. Her reward was that the friends would save the lobster bodies for her (since they only served the tails). She can get more out of a lobster than anyone you have ever seen.

I will be happy to Mona, though I don't know if my fridge has ever had anything in it that was healthy enough for you.

Fortunately, Food City is running a sale on Spam.

Keurig is sending out a new batch this week.

And I have a few pounds of Green Mountain and some Kona in the freezer, so we should be set for the first few days.
