...like I'm the happiest person on earth. I one second place in the teen category, and I got a....drumroll....SCHOLARSHIP!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!! Everyone complimented my drawings as well...

Then a I got a ton of "I'm so proud of you"'s and "you are amazing!"'s when I posted pictures on Facebook...and now I'm chatting with one of my best friends. I also got a 100 on my algebra test today (that NEVER happens) and I got a 5/5 on every category my writing assignment was graded by!!!! My cheeks hurt!!!

*Clap Clap* That's wonderful, Mainstay.

I feel slowly adapted to my tube. Still not comfortable sleeping on that side though. My mind is imagining it bigger than it actually is, but what to do...

... ready for dinner. Sorta. Need to shower and change first. I've been enjoying today in comfy clothes. Just got a call from a friend that we're invited for dinner by someone somewhere.

Thanks all! I guess I'll just HAVE to take art in college now...what a shame.

...a little mad. Why be in such a good mood if no one is there to enjoy it with you? I just figured out last night that not one, but TWO of my friends are now thinking about suicide. I love them both dearly and it comes as quite a shock. It keeps me from being just totally insanely happy about my own successes...I think it's called "over-sympathizing".

...a little bummed. Today is my 50th birthday, yet it turned out to be pretty much a routine day. I did some celebrating yesterday, and I hope to do some celebrating tomorrow evening. Why couldn't something have worked out for this evening as well?

.... bummed for dsf! I've got a big birthday coming up soon too, but I have no idea what I'm going to do, where I'm going to go, or anything.

Well, I think it means you are a true friend to them. If you weren't, you'd be celebrating like crazy not caring but anything or anyone else instead of keeping them in your thoughts while trying to be insanely crazy happy.

... totally psyched to go to work. A friend will be on the flight as well as a passenger. It seems she has a little bit too many vacation days leftover so they put her on forced leave. So if she isn't sleeping, I'll be able to chat with her a little.

... like last night was fun. It turns out my friend was inviting people and so the host ended up with a few more guests than the original idea was. But we all know she's crazy fun. She wanted to introduce me to a friend of hers and we talked a little but not much. There were quite a few people there. So now she's planning for the 3 of us to get together for a coffee sometime.

...mad at my bro for totally embarassing me... in front of my parents.

But Mainstaynut, isn't that what brothers are for?

/me nods...

Noooooooo!!!! Tell me it isn't sooo!!!!!

...l ]ike I'm having a really hard time getting motivated to get anything done today...

Now Mainstay, the door (your brother embarrassing you swings both ways. You just need to figure out how to embarrass him also.)

I am tired this morning, I haven't been up to date on all of my forums subs and have some as far back as just after Columbus day. I do hope to get caught up soon, although it I will not be all caught up this morning at all.

HAPPY (BELATED) 50th DSFUVA!!!!!

Ok, it isn't as nice as a birthday party - but I hope that you enjoyed your 50th just the same :)

And congratulations Mainstay! I'm soooo excited for you!

I'm supposed to be out exercising. I feel glad that I don't have to rush around and do anything - and I'm glad to have Saturday off. Well, time to get walking!

Thanks, Shema. . .the nap did help a little. My catechism kids were rather unruly today and all my preparation on the lesson seemed to be wasted. I was just so frustrated! And therefore crabby.

I'm not always this way. . . I promise.

... a little sleepy... I was up late working on assignments, but finally got them done.

... motivated to get my assignments done a little early this week.

... a little discouraged... I was given some misinformation about something so now I have to come up with a new plan, meaning I have to do a little more research that I wasn't expecting.

... In some slight pain. I pulled a muscle in my back last night... in my sleep.

... Thoughtful. SavedbyGraceMD and I have been having some seriously powerful conversations and he is hitting some nerves (not bad ones, he is making me think in a new light). Wednesday is my day off, and I will be spending the day in quiet prayer about it.

... like I haven't woken up yet. Bangkok was great, though I had my first encounter with "racisme". Well, together with my supervisor, I went shopping. He had to find some bags for his sister. We went to one shop and I wasn't allowed in the back cause I'm not Arab. So I waited by the entrance for him to do his shopping. Luckily that, together with a little after landing in Bangkok incident, was the only minus of the trip and overall it was great fun.

... sad cause my friend is leaving for South Africa but at the same time very happy for her cause she'll finally be with her husband. They've had a LDR ever since they met and that continued a little after the marriage. I didn't make it for her farewell party yesterday cause we were delayed from Bangkok yesterday. The aircraft was already delayed from Bahrain, so we had a few extra hours in the hotel

... a little discouraged, still. I'm not sure why I'm not fighting this off. I went for a short walk last night and a longer walk this morning. I've prayed about it and spent a little time in the Word, but I'm still discouraged. And it's just a general feeling right now over a lot of little things, nothing specific.

...tired. I have been busy since I woke up this morning...

...anxious. I was taped today at the Children's Museum by channel two (if you watch in a few days I might be on there! haha). It was weird. I actually didn't like it that much. But nevertheless, it's still cool to say you were on tv.

...annoyed at this dumb paper I have to write...about a book I read LAST SEMESTER for cryin' out loud...my brain is young but I still don't remember half of it.

...like the people at choir are the coolest ever!

... sleepy. I had a cup o' tea last night, a little too late. It relaxed me and didn't help me stay up later at all... but it did keep me from sleeping well. So now I'm yawning all day.

... determined. As I get closer to graduation, I'm more and more determined that I'm not going to settle for a second-rate job... I'm going to go where God wants me to go, though I'm praying for something that pays really, really well.
