Thanks!! I love naps too... just not this late. Luckily I don't have anywhere I need to be tomorrow morning so I'm ok. I just hope I'm productive tonight.

Status: offline 		... somewhat sick. I woke up this morning in Taipei with quite the sore throat. So now I'm having fun with lozenges and got some flu/cold tablets as well. Hopefully I will feel better in time for the wedding reception on the 25th.

in severe pain from the chronic condition i live with. today has not been a good day for my body.
angry at myself that i am still dealing with certain struggles i thought had long been laid to rest.
grateful for god's mercy, grace, love and faithfulness in spite of the above.
like a high school girl who likes the football quarterback and can't believe he seems interested in her too.
and excited that sunday is our monthly family dinner and my son will be bringing my grandson to our church and then to our family dinner

Status: offline 		... still a bit sick. While my throat feels fine today, my nose is running away from me. But I prefer the runny, semi-blocked nose over all the other little discomforts I had the past 2 days from being sick. And I know I didn't have a fever, cause when I went to the Zoo yesterday... they point this laser gun at you to check your temperature and they let me in

Status: offline 		... good. Today starts a new semester and I'm excited to see the semesters ticking down. Things seem to be going a little faster these days, and I hope the trend continues.

... still a little tired from last night. We had 70+ at the Fall Festival last night, and my game was a hit. I decorated a hula-hoop to look like a ring of fire, and the kids got to shoot rockets through it to win candy. They were only supposed to shoot three... but I quickly learned that, to them, that meant three ROUNDS of seven!! Oh, and the older the kids were, the more they wanted to shoot each other (especially the over-40 kids!! )

I'm happy right now because I'm in my new place and it is cool (it is a little cloudy and overcast today - a nice cool 70 degrees) - I have the fan going - so that is making it feel a bit cooler. Love it! I'm off today and have a few projects planned. Spent some time with God yesterday - he calmed my heart and my spirit. I'm very content, very happy :)

I was hoping to find an internship that paid at least a little something, but some of these will include some travel, and I'm a little worried about finances... but I know that God is in control, and He opened the door for me to take this step, so I am trusting in Him to get me through this.

Status: offline 		I've been working on an article today - it took forever to do all of the research. I got a million phone calls today so I was away from my computer for hours. I got back, worked on it some more, edited it, uploaded it online and it disappeared. Then my laptop suddenly stopped charging and my machine crashed. I finally got things working again but everything is gone. All I have is a copy of the paper .... from 4 hours ago. GRRRRR. I thought I'd get a chance to sleep tonight but ...

Status: offline 		Praise the Lord!!!!! I started praying because I was so tired. I looked at the site again and the article was there!!!! I'd checked a couple of times before and it was gone - blank. Hallelujiah. I still have more stuff to do, but not nearly as much as I did before. Whew!!!!

Status: offline 		... really excited. I had an interview today with a potential internship site and everything is just falling into place for this to be THE ONE! I will make my decision by tomorrow night, which is when I need to talk to another potential supervisor and work out some details with her. I'm excited about something else too, but I want to wait a little bit before giving any details.

Status: offline 		... still sick. While the sore throat went away quite quickly... A runny nose said hello and a little later a cough as well. The nose is what caused my ears to block yesterday upon both landings and now I'm not working today cause of my ears. The doc was hinting at swine flu if I get a fever too. But still no fever and I've been sick almost a week. So I'm just putting it in the category of a normal lovely cold. I have to validate my sick note today, so I'm making an appointment with the company doc and will ask her for something for the cough cause the doc yesterday never gave me anything for it. And I'll ask her to check my ears again. Cause I still feel something while the doc from yesterday said my ears looked fine.

... otherwise fine. Taiwan was great and I definitely want to go back there on holiday some day and explore the country more. Hopefully do the whole hiking path and enjoy a hot spring.

Status: offline 		... mehhh. Didn't get the all clear from the doc to fly but instead 3 more sick days and another follow up set for Sunday. I hope I'll get the all clear then.

... totally I had a lovely message on the work system to come in the office to sign my contract renewal. Yeah!!! I'll go do that on Sunday as well. With all the rumors and stories about crew not getting their contracts renewed, I'm happy I don't have to worry about it anymore. Well, not for another year.

... ready for the 25th. I talked to my parents yesterday and expressed my wish that instead of them spending the day with me in Frankfurt, I'd like to go home and see my grandma and aunt and by that time my cousin and his girlfriend will have become the proud parents of their first baby. So I'd like to see the newest addition to the family. They'll come and pick me up from the hotel, so I can arrange my room, change and leave my bags there and then they'll bring me back later in the evening.

Status: offline 		...happy. For a few good reasons...I just got "comissioned" to do a drawing...first request ever! I also just reccomended my amazing art teacher to someone...AND I got a perfect grade on my writing assignment. YES!!!

...sad, again, for a few reasons...mainly because friends of mine are hurting and I can't do anything to ease their pain.
