Christmas is coming????? Gets that "Deer in the headlights" look.
I'm having enough trouble with the events coming up in the next couple of weeks to pay attention to something in a couple of months...

The only thing I've done is try out some new cookie recipes.
I've thought some about gifts. I'm going to order the new Booth Brothers DVD for my mother.

i LOVE christmas! =) i love the real meaning... but i love the commercial meaning just as much. i like decorating teyh house with frosty's and santas and ginger bread houses and twinkling lights and stockings and all that. but i love getting really gaudy tacky christmas decorations. like on our tree i have nascar ornamanets, which my wife hates =D. and also on the tree i have blinking chinese lanterns... which my wife also hates. =D so its fun all around. hahaha. man... i want to decorate now =(

I had an all teddy bear tree once - got the miniature ones at thrift stores and garage sales for 25 or 50 cents each.

Sometimes I do a "cookie" tree. Gingerbread men ornaments, antique cooking utensils (some red-handled, some green-handled), antique cookie cutters, I think I even tuck in a vintage cookbook and folded tablecloth, rolling pin, vintage spice tins....anything that looks like it could be included in the baking theme. It has been my favorite themed tree.
I haven't actually done anything per se, but I have decided what the grown kids are getting, and kicking around ideas for what the grandkids will get.

Me too.
I'm trying to get overseas Christmas presents organised. I have a lot of penpals, plus friends still living in New Zealand.
