You and your DH are recreating memories of your first honeymoon .... it's a wonderful day and you both decide you'd like to purchase some strawberries and chocolates when all of a sudden your DH realizes he can't find his wallet. You're both looking frantically all over and then you realize your purse is missing too. So the next several hours are spent calling the bank and card companies letting them know you've been robbed.
I wish with all this snow on the ground I could go sledding...

You DO get to go sledding ... unfortunately at the bottom of the hill is a body of water covered by the snow and you land head first and are soaked to the skin in freezing temperatures!
I wish we get to enjoy this weather for a few more weeks! (Middle 70's and sunny :-)

POOF! The weather will be in the mid seventies where you live for the next several weeks. However, people who live in places where it won't be so warm have heard about your remarkable weather and are now descending on your town in droves. Everywhere you go, it's too crowded to do anything.
I wish the weight I lost while I was dieting would stay off me when I'm not dieting.

poof...it all stays off, but you get new extra weight from new food.
I wish I get up early and drive my friend tomorrow so she gets to the plane and has a great trip.

*Poof* you get up early and you drive your friend to the airport. But, you accidentally forget to give her back her purse you were holding for her. You run on the plane to give it to her, and she runs off to get it from you. Then the plane takes off and you end up going on the trip instead of her. She thinks you did that on purpose and she never speaks to you again.
I wish there was a booth you could walk into and it would dress you and do your hair/make up for church in 30 seconds.

*Poof* your cats start talking--and one of them slips up and tells you about a plot they have against you. They want to create an "accident" for you and then take over the house. You foil their plot, but the relationships are never the same.
I wish I could jump out of bed like some people I know...all chipper and ready for the day. (Instead of dragging out of bed and finally feeling normal by noon or 1 pm.)

*Poof* there's work to do...cleaning up after the police horses as they walk around town. Also, you were elected to pick up all the dead animals by the side of the road...lucky you!

POOF! You are now a mascot for Oscar Meyer, and you are contractually obligated to wear your costume and be the Oscar Meyer Weiner 24/7. You are never free of that hot, bulky costume again. But hey, aren't you glad I didn't poof you into actually being an edible piece of meat?
I wish my daughter, who got her driver's lisense on Wednesday, to always drive safely and never even get a speeding ticket, much less get into an accident.

The weather where you are is warm, sunny, clear and beautiful. But, the police mistake you for a criminal and you spend that beautiful day trying to bond out of jail.
I wish I felt better...I've been slightly sick for about 2 weeks now.
