the plane arrives... and DH is miserable.. and has a headache. and is tired and hungry... and wants you to drive home.. and complains the whole time about how awful the flight was while backseat driving... then mentions that somebody in the seat behind him has the swine flu..and now he's not feeling so hot.. and for some reason his luggage is on a direct flight to Mongolia.
I wish I had something to wear.. ladies, do you know what I'm saying? ever open your closet and have absolutely nothing to wear???

*Poof* the blue jay comes back and raises a family...but, then he flies down your chimney and gets stuck in your furnace, breaking it.
I wish someone else would clean the kitty litter box for me.

someone does, but by doing so, they flush all the litter down the toilet, clogging it horribly and now you're going to need a plumber

*Poof* you stay home all day and get a salary and insurance...cuz you just moved in with an 80 year old man as his "helper". He gives you a great salary and health insurance for "helping" him.
I wish I was a morning person. I drag around the house till 2 pm most days, but I'm chipper and peppy at midnight.

poof...you're wide awake at 3 am but fall asleep by 5pm and miss your shows. why not just let me poof you into a cat? they're naturally nocturnal - you could spend the night playing with your cat.
I wish I'd applied for health insurance earlier - now dh won't have any for a month after his COBRA runs out.

No more worries about health insurance.. You just found out that DH robbed a pharmacy and is now selling prescription drugs on the street.
my daughter is getting her adenoids out on wednesday and she's a bit scared.. How do I ease her fears?

I wish I could quit working for that gross 80 year old man and STILL have a salary and insurance (see earlier wish)

*Poof* you have a dog...that's half Great Dane and half Chihuahua. It has a huge front and tiny back legs so you have to hold up the back end so he can walk.

*Poof* you hire someone to do your job and you stay home. But, she's a former beauty queen who has an eye for your husband.
I wish I could go to 2 or 3 different denominations and no one would complain. (Like go to a Baptist church one week and a Catholic the next.) But, people at the churches I go to complain if I visit other churches, cuz they think their churches are the only "right" ones.

poof...you get hired by an org doing surveys. you're payed to go to a dif church every week and fill out a short survey question. now no one is angry, since it's a job. but you also have to attend various cult meetings and one of them is trying to make you sacrifice your cat.
I wish I'd get a second wind - did shopping and cleaned the kitchen, but the bathroom is waiting for me.
