Oh! He didn't play that part? He's listed as being in that episode without a character name.
I wonder if he was playing the Reaper hidden somewhere or something? My husband was sure that the parapalegic was him, and when we checked IMDB and it had him listed as cast for that show, we assumed that was him...

I don't think the Reaper is necessarily out to kill Hotch's wife and son. He's out to control/ruin Hotch's life. I think he's going to stop killing for a long time so they have to stay in protective custody because that's what would be hardest on Hotch.
We didn't start watching Criminal Minds until about a year ago. Thankfully A&E has been having reruns - 6 episodes per weekend! I think we caught it from the beginning and we're now into 2007. I'll almost be sorry to catch up, we've enjoyed watching one episode almost every evening!

Yep, the Reaper shows up at the very end in Hotch's apartment and shoots him, that's why C. Thomas is in the credits :)
I don't think he'd kill Hotch's wife and son, that would be too easy. He wants to torment Hotch, and what better way than this? Remember that the BAU always says the best profiler is a serial killer, so the Reaper would know how best to torment Hotch.
I love the A&E reruns :) I also didn't start watching CM until last year.

So what did everyone think of the last two episodes?
Last night's was intense, and I'm interested to see where they'll go with the storyline for Morgan now. He should have listened to Garcia, she knows what she's talking about.

Morgan is, like many single men, thinking with his hormones and not his brain. He is going after the "catch of the day" in that woman he went to see, when the real "catch of a lifetime" is back at Quantico. I think Garcia would marry Morgan, or just jump in the sack with him, in a heartbeat if he'd just ask her. What do you think, Kimmie?

My opinion of Morgan in the last season has diminshed. I dunno what they're doing with his character, but he just seems to lean towards being a stereotpyical "player" with everyone.
As much as Garcia and he go back and forth, he'd break her heart and then I'd be forced to kill a fictional character.

I think they do have a special relationship. I wondered if something was going to happen between them when Garcia was shot and he was taking care of her. However, I 'm not sure that will actually happen. I think she is as much concerned about her as him in last night's episode.

HE wasn't in much. He is on crutches so he can't go in the field. Bullet wound I think. You could see him in the background at headquarters and he went to the first crime scene.

Reid was there, but he's still hobbling around on crutches from that gunshot wound, so he's not able to go everywhere that the rest of them do.

Matthew Gray Gubler injured his knee, which is why his character was shot in the leg. Like Duane said, Reid is still there, but staying at headquarters.
I don't know if Morgan is a player and chasing his hormones, I read him more as a rescuer and someone who thinks he won't have a problem with being kind to this woman who just lost her brother. I do think he could get drawn into this, though.

I do like that they wrote in an injury, instead of trying to ignore it.
I'm giving Derek the benefit of the doubt right now. I think he was just trying to comfort her. I don't think he was actually coming on to her. She may have been coming on to him, so I'll reserve judgement for a while.

I'm not sure what could happen with Derek and that girl long term, since that actress has one of the leading roles on Eureka. I guess with Eureka and Criminal Minds on opposing schedules it could work though.
I think Penelope got a "feeling" and because of her and Derek's relationship, she was overly cautious on how to approach him with genuine concerns and it seemed like it was jealousy when in fact...maybe not.

He's in another department, but pops up from time to time.
That was a real shock to me that Hotch named Derek the lead. I like Derek, don't get me wrong. But Rossi has management experience, and Derek turned it down before. I think it would have made more sense to name Rossi.

I remember him as Xander from Buffy...he was the geek back then, too.

With all the Penelope and Derek talk I was wondering if Penelope and techie broke up or something.
Yeah, I was surprised he didn't ask Rossi as well! Although if it's supposed to be temporary, it might be easier for Derek to give up the leadership role? I dunno. We'll see how next week goes I guess!
