I hope they dont start pulling in too much NCIS:LA stuff. I like NCIS, not digging LA so I stopped watching it. I caught too many references to the LA show (hubby is watching it). Abby asking about going to Cali and the LA agents (they better not send Abby over to LA). Then McGee always interested in their gadgets...I'm afraid of what might be coming.

I agree, it would ruin the original and I'd hate to see it happen!

If they changed shows would that be an indication that the original was going to end?

I think so

Man, whoda thunk that Vance's wife would take things into her own hands like that?

I did.

I liked the episode. I don't think you had to watch LA to follow the plot of this one.

Agreed. I don't, and I did.

It was a really good one.

I'm afraid so. My thinking comes from where they tried to retire Gibbs so many times but kept having to bring him back. I get the impression that they might be trying to do that again. Get someone that has a good following and then move them over and just fade out the original. Purely speculation on my part though. Though it probably will end, anytime I REALLY get into a show it dies.

So get out of it! (Just kidding. )

NCIS is the number 1 show in prime time. No one in their right mind would be trying to phase it out. I think this is just a way to boost the new show, not take anything away from the original.

They would if they felt they could replace it and not loose any fan base. Ya know, switch all the fans over to the new show...its still NCIS right? Though I dont like the new one at all.

Ditto. NCIS LA isn't the same show at all.

And I would think the Powers that Be would recognize that also, and not do such a brainless thing as think they could just pull a switcharoo.

This week had to be one of the best regarding the team's relationships...

I laughed in so many places...with the nostalgia and their bewilderment at "what did they do BEFORE all the techno widgits..."

Total blackout = billions
Working a case without all the gizmos = cheaper
Gibbs smiling at the silence when everyone got their computers back = priceless
