My two year old was having a rousing match of T-Rex versus the Jumbo Jet at the table this morning when my 9 month old bonked her head and started to cry. As I was trying to comfort her, my son volunteered his T-Rex so that his sister would feel better. Now, that's love for you.

My son (11) was at boarding school for the first time in his life and came home for a week last week. Every morning he was sitting on my bed at 8 with a glass of orange juice and cereal ready for a kiss and a hug. I also received a letter from his school saying that not only was he the most popular boy in his class (he had problems at his last school) but that he had got the best geography mark in his year. My youngest son said his first polite, sensicle sentence, peese can I have dat. He first said, I want that, but I told him to say Please can I have that and he did. His twin sister has been talking in sentences for a while now. My eldest daughter (9) was kissed (on the cheek) for the first time and her response was "eww" and she ran and told her friends, who all said "eww". I am so proud!
