9/20 - unsaved loved ones and peer pressure. Dd entering that "party" stage and we won't let her go to any unless we knwo the family. She's understands and is cool about it, but her friends bug her.

((((HUGS)))) for your daughter Deb. Prayers that you walk and speak in wisdom and gentleness. Glad school is going well. It's going well here too, I'm glad. My youngest is by far the most attached to me, so I'm very happy to see him flourishing and thriving away from me for a few hours a day. I miss him though.
I would like to ask for a mostly unspoken request. My husband needs peace, wisdom, and discernment concerning his employment. Thank you.

Thank you so much for the prayers! I didn't even know you all were in here asking for them. I appreciate it so much (and feel loved)
Please pray for our vehicle situation. Larry had an accident with our mega van and it's undriveable. He thinks he busted the transmission line (whatever that is) so there is no fluid going where it needs to go. Plus a lot of damage to the front end. He is ok, he just hurt his thumb, he thinks when he turned the wheel hard to avoid it, when he hit the truck the steering wheel snapped back and his thumb was in the way.
He ran into the back of a semi truck that hauls sand.
So now we are down to one pick up that barely runs. Every day he isn't sure it will make it to Omaha. So now Linz doesn't have anything to drive and has to bum rides from her friends. It's just a mess.
Pray for my resentment too. He had 5 days off while I was in the hospital to work on vehicles and did nothing, literally. He sat and watched Fox News all week. (no comments Deb!  ) So I am angry at him because if he had worked on one, then it all still would have worked out. And now he is too tired to work on any of them and he just lays around. I think he's depressed but he won't admit it.

Still no job so appreciate the continued prayers.
I received an email this morning from my daughter's cheer coach. She had a baby girl on Friday but she is not doing well at all. Her lungs were not fully developed and she was tranfered to a childrens hospital. She had surgery to put her on a machine that is acting like her heart and lungs so she can rest and hopefully they will heal. They don't know if she will make it.

I need to get my rear in gear and start loosing weight. I quite smoking 10+ years ago and I know it hard to start up and go for that first 2 weeks, but I really need to.
Jobs for those in need.

Hubby got a call this morning to go speak with the hiring mgr at the place he used to work at several years ago. PLEASE PRAY. I know I haven't mentioned it much, but we've been without income of any kind for a month now and desperately need a good job to come thru. This place wouldn't have been his first choice to return to, but right now it's looking like paradise.

Ethan's doing better - actually up and chipper and pretty much fever free with medication since this morning!!! Maybe we'll have this thing kicked.
Pray for me - I'm co-chairing a group of parents that is working on a letter writing campaign to make sure we KEEP our elementary art teacher who was placed on administrative leave until December pending a public hearing. It's a LONG story and I'm not sure of all the details yet - but from what I'm hearing the way they went about placing her on leave was dirty, underhanded and just completely wrong. SO a couple other moms, a dad and I are on a mission to have as many written letters as possible come in on her behalf stating what a benefit she is to our school and especially to our children and what she means to our kids and how she has affected them. Anyway. I am determined to do everything I can to keep her teaching and in my kids' school for as long as she wants to be there.
