Thanks Dave,
I knew they were not Scriptural.
But I appreciate the relevance they connected to it.

We did the traditional Passover our first year, but as we
study we abandoned the traditional stuff. We still celebrate
Passover with the Scriptural guidelines in Exodus, I Cor., etc.

We have our own flavor of it all...............lol

I would call that more of a misinterpretation than an actual connection. Kind of like the piggybank that was originally in many shapes and made out of clay(pygg). Now, they were made almost exclusively in the shape of a pig.

Our shul makes the connection that Egypt represented sin. Therefore when we go through the Sedar, we acknowledge Yeshua as our redemption, taking us our of "Egypt".
