I've done a little bit of a blog entry about their time here. Didn't write everything though. I felt like what I wrote was going to fill a page!

Our ladies group will be here this afternoon, but I'm not going. Even just trying to walk hurts. I'm still not over the fibromyalgia attack yesterday. My body is just telling me it hurts.

Well, me and my hurts are going back to bed. I'll talk to you all later.

Hi Trish. I read your blog. It was good that you got to see your brothers.

But you definitely did overdo.

Get the rest you need.

I'm resting.

Had a doctor's appointment yesterday and have another one tomorrow. Nothing to worry about. The rest of the week, I've been resting.

Have ordered some cross stitch supplies and other things for Christmas gifts. Some will be given to people to stitch, (they already do cross stitch), and others I will stitch. I was going to do one for John's sister, but by the time it gets here, I get it done and it gets sent to his sister, (who lives in another part of the country), it'll be too late. I've told him that I'll do it for her birthday, which he's happy with. That's not until April, so it gives me plenty of time to work on things.

I never have had the patience for cross stitching. Or at least I didn't when I was young. Maybe now.

I taught myself to cross stitch. I've been doing it since my teens. I've often been told that I have a lot of patience.

Here comes post 32000.

Wise choice to hold off on some of the craft work and give yourself enough time to reasonably complete them. That's a lot better than trying to cram all of that into too little time.

So true, Ray. At the beginning, when I started knitting the scarves, I was having fun. Further into it, I hated it because I was putting so much pressure on myself. It wasn't healthy. Even my doctor was telling me to give it a rest. I just wanted to get it done.

I figure that seeing as I'll have over a year to do things, I'm not going to cause myself to have a meltdown. There is one cross stitch to do for John's birthday, near the end of January. I hope I can concentrate enough to get that done in time.

Roberta, pity you weren't living closer. I'd show you how to do it if you don't already know how to. It's fun!

Thanks. He hates having to have ear drops, but he's not yelping like he was before when we put them in. His ear still looks messy, but it seems to be getting better. I hate seeing animals in pain.

I remember we had a dog when I was a child who used to hate to take baths. You could not even say the word bath or else she would vanish into the wood behind our house...Which was the reason she needed the bath in the first place because she liked to go into the woods behind our house.

Bailey's not keen on baths either, but he'll tolerate them. He knows he gets treats, and he'll just about anything for those. If you take too long, he lets you know about it, but on the whole, he's pretty good about it.

Not having a good night tonight. Am in a fair bit of pain thanks to the fibromyalgia. Have taken some extra meds to try and help. (About the strength of advil).

From your blog:

quote:

I don't understand what John and Joan were talking about. The more fruit we take off the tomato plants, the more will grow? Why?

The plant puts all of its effort into reproducing...putting on fruit. Once it has accomplished that, the plant sits back and thinks it can relax now. If the fruit is pulled, then it feels as if its job of putting on fruit isn't done yet and it tries harder.

Ahhhhhhhhh! Thanks Ray. That I can understand.

Haven't been in here in ages. Not by choice. I come online, then fall asleep before I get here.

Haven't been well lately. Fibromyalgia has been really terrible. Went out to do some things on Wednesday. Was supposed to go out on Thursday, but just couldn't. Yesterday, we went to a craft fair for the first time in years. I wasn't sure how far Joan and I were going to be able to walk, but we did enough. I'm definitely paying the price for it now though. It's just going to have to be recovery time, whether I like it or not.
