Well, I tent to read while I am waiting for the bus and on the bus because it is a way to pass the time and get my reading done.

i either read after all of my "chores" are done, and the house is quiet, or i'm getting ready to start the day.

Gets his Orange,White,and Brown hammock
How is everyone today? I am off again today. We are making pizza for dinner tonight so I had to get a pizza crust. I went into Downtown Honolulu yesterday. I found a song I have been looking for for some time. My dad was a huge opera fan. He had a lot of old Mario Lanza,Enrico Caruso records. So I found this one song Mario Lanza sang. Immediately put it on my ipod..lol...

Rosie I need to adopt your reading schedule (after chores) and apply it to internet use. How are you today?

John do you want me to also put the Browns logo on your hammock?

Pizza for lunch. Pizza for dinner.

...anyone reading anything in particular right now? Right now, I'm in the book of Isaiah. Here's my first question of the day for the new thread!

What is the best kind of environment for you to read in?

Right now I'm in Genesis. Also I'm still reading Maggie's book. Don't have time for much reading seems like. The best environment for me to read in is definitely one with peace and quiet or perhaps some soft music. With the TV blaring or people talking...or worse...talking to me, I can't concentrate.

Right now I am reading a One Year Bible...altho I'm a few days behind. The print is so small I have a hard time catching up.
Also reading a Debbie Macomber book. My favorite time to read is bedtime..but I have been known to take my book and read, whenever I want to relax.
Wonder if that ocean blue hammock is ready for me today? I could catch up on my Bible reading, in the bright sunshine of Hawaii.

Your ocean blue hammock is always ready Bubbles. How are you today?

Hiya Ray ((((Ray

Rosie that's so exciting! Headstart is a great program. I wouldn't mind being in the Headstart program either. Sarah? Have you thought about Headstart?

As for me, the best environment for me is 1) with some music on and 2) outside the house. When I was a college student I could never study at home for some reason. Too relaxing with too many distractions (tempted to watch tv, etc...) So I was one of those that liked going to Barnes and Noble or somewhere similar to study. Today my fave place is Diamond Head lookout.

You know what I really enjoy? Friends on a big beach house deck overlooking the beach with POG in their hands

.....wait now, it sounds like Clue.

Gee, now if I ever planned a Hawaii GT, that would have to be the way to do it right? I wonder sometime if there will ever be a GT in Hawaii. That would so awesome wouldn't it?

(might be hard to do that tho)

I'm fine, thanks for asking. Cept I broke away a part of my back tooth and filling today. Can't get into the dentist until Monday. Guess it's soft food for me until then.

Yikes Bubbles. A good mouthwash rinse often should help until you go to the dentist. BTW, I forgot to tell you that I like your sig! Very sweet...

Good morning/afternoon everyone...

Yes! I'm up! lol I did sleep in a little but not too bad. I have lots to do today. The house is a mess! I guess you could say that today is Spring cleaning day.

.....still trying to wake up though. Streeeeeetch!

How is everyone doing today?

So whatever I end up not wanting today will either be donated, sold on eBay or sold on Amazon. I'm going to try both places to get a feel of which one I like better. This is a first step of a big project. Deadlines, Must make deadlines. Ha.

Brings out the Dole Whip machine!

I got fresh pineapple to go on top too!

I have no idea today what question I want to post. I'll post one this afternoon.

Ok, it's survey day!

Have you ever...

Climbed a tree
Danced in the rain
Ate something really horrible-looking
Watched a meteor shower
Fallen in front of a ton of people
Been in a play
Written a really good story
Ate a bug
Played an instrument in a performance
Skipped school
Cried over someone you didn't even know
Gone swimming in your clothes

Have fun with it ok?

Have you ever...

Climbed a tree? When I was in Elementary school. Not very high though.
Danced in the rain? I think I did briefly once. That would be fun to do the next time it rains!
Ate something really horrible-looking? Yup. Recently. I had a noodle dish that looked like a plate of worms.
Watched a meteor shower? No. That would cool though!
Fallen in front of a ton of people? Not sure. I am sure I have before. lol
Been in a play? I was in one play. It was for an acting class. I didn't have much of a role though. I was also the stage manager.
Written a really good story? Does a blog count?
Ate a bug? Probably. LOL. My mom did tell me I tried to eat a lizard when I was little.
Played an instrument in a performance? Band in school. Not anything serious or anything though.
Skipped school? Can't say I have.
Cried over someone you didn't even know? Yes.
Gone swimming in your clothes? Who doesn't get pushed into a pool at least once in their life?

Ah, I would love to be an a Hawaiian beach, or anywhere in Hawaii.

My week has flashed by and I've no idea why. Taking care of the basics and having a visitor or more drop by seems to eat my days. Other folks can fit much more that that into their days.

Sorry I didn't answer you ?s.

Hi Marsha! Oh trust me...it takes me awhile to get the simplest of tasks done. I wish I had some of Shar Mar's superpowers sometime. Are your guests going to keep you busy over the weekend?

It's such a nice afternoon here!

Jumps into the ocean for a dip...

Ahhhhhhh!

I've done 5 loads of laundry so far today. I don't overload so maybe it's more like three big ones. I'm going for 6 today. I've cleaned my kitchen cupboards and I also want to tackle cleaning out the fridge. Then it's the kitchen table and that's good for me today. The rest of the day will be spend grocery shopping.

I'm washing all my clothes and then will sort through them to see what I want to keep and don't want to keep.

John your answers to 5, 7 and 10 are false.

I find it interesting how we probably have done certain things. lol So how's school Sarah?

Evening everyone! It's late on the mainland but it's only 6:30 here. Just got home from the market. Tonight is ahi noicose salad. Suffice to say though that I am having some chips right now. So much for a healthy evening. lol

I found two things in my kitchen that I can sell...and they are brand spankin new! lol One is a plastic set of measuring cups and the other a set of Kitchen Aid rubber spatulas. I got enough of these. Don't need them.

Weird. My cell phone just rang and it had the number +00199999667 on it. Of course I didn't pick it up. Strange number.
