Hello, everyone! It is a beautiful early spring day here in Southern California.
This morning, Robin and I went to the County hospital.
Since yesterday, after praying, I am filled with God's peace and comfort. It is indescribable! I feel like a little girl, safe in her Daddy's arms. And indeed, I am.
They had the results of the mammogram and ultrasound, but would not share them with us until ALL test results are in.
Today I had a biopsy.
Tomorrow at 7:00 AM, I have a bone scan at the County hospital, and after that, a CT scan.
The doctor would only say that at this point it is "highly likely" that it is cancer.
God did incredible miracles today---He gave me favor and rolled out the red carpet!
First----my nurse at the clinic today attends the same church that I do, and she is in the same Monday night women's study that I am!!!
I was asked to go to patient accounts so they could change a code.
Long story short----I HAVE BEEN GRANTED FULL SCOPE MEDI-CAL! It covers EVERYTHING---vision, dental, medical.
Years ago, a Medi-Cal administrative law judge denied my appeal, and denied me Medi-Cal.
God gave me Medi-Cal health insurance!!! I have been without health insurance for 6 years! The lady that signed me up for Medi-Cal is a Christian, and she was sharing with Robin and I beautifully.
Robin can't make it tomorrow to my bone scan and CT scan, so she has arranged for another lady who works at the church to drive me to my appointment and be with me throughout. Praise God for His love and tender care!
I am so happy!

Father,
I thank You and Praise You for allowing our sister to receive excellent medical care.
Thank You that she was granted full Medi-Cal to cover all the costs.
You are truly a God of Miracles! Thank you, also, for sending loving Christians to
accompany Pamela through all the tests. Your mercies are unending.
Lord, I am praying that You will heal her completely.
Remove every cell from her body that is not supposed to be there.
I know that You can do anything. If You say it is so, then it will be so.
Keep fear away and keep her full of Your PEACE.
Walk with her every step of the way through all the tests and the outcome.
Lift her up and give her encouragement.
Bind the evil one so that he cannot cause any harm.
Thank You for hearing and answering our prayers.

Hello, everyone---thank you so much for your beautiful, heartfelt prayers on my behalf.
I'll be getting all test results on Thursday at 8:45 am. My surgeons will also discuss what treatment options they feel would best avail me of achieving remission, or slowing the growth of the cancer.
Thursday morning early, my Pastor's wife "Robin" is picking me up and taking me to the Regional Medical Center. Pastor John is coming over to my apartment with her to serve me Communion, as I have requested.
I am so thankful to God for His love, mercy, compassion, and so much more!

Today I received the results of my bone scan and biopsy.
Good news---the cancer has not spread to my bones or other internal organs! I sincerely thank God for this fact.
Bad news: The tumor is a full millimeter, the largest possible. Also, I am in a Stage IIIA; one step above end Stage IV. The tumor is a high grade 3 histologic--the worst grade possible. Also, the cancer has spread to my lymph nodes under my right arm.
The doctor said there is severe swelling, so that they cannot do the double mastectomy yet. I will be having chemotherapy first.
Good news: chemotherapy MAY shrink the tumor size.
I have my first oncology appointment on April 21 at 2:00 pm.
I will pursue treatment, and not miss a single appointment, no matter how I'm feeling. I am committed to try for remission.
My Senior Pastor, his wife Robin, a Christian friend and neighbor and I all celebrated Communion before I went in for the results. It was a holy, glorious time.
I praise God for His love and mercy!

I lift up Pamela to You today for healing and comfort and encouragement.
Remove any burden of fear that might seep in and replace it with Your Peace.
Help her stay close to Your Father's Heart and rest in Your Promises.

Hello, everyone, and so thankful for all your prayers!
Yesterday was a fantastic day in our Lord!
My neighbor and friend---Yolanda---came over and made breakfast for me. The scrambled eggs were delicious.
I received about 15 phonecalls yesterday, also.
The former Assistant Manager, Evalee--- came over, saying the current Manager had told her the news about my having cancer. The former AM is a Christian, and we had a wonderful talk and time of fellowship.
Then, Robin---my Senior Pastor's wife---visited. She brought me many kind and generous gifts, as well as bringing a big rawhide bone for my dog, Jack Jasper. That big goofy mutt loves Robin so much! He is a traitor! LOL.
Robin brought me three pillows, brightly colored pillowcases, Christian music CDs, Christian books, a beautiful flower arrangement, a pair of pink gardening gloves, a gardening trowel, and flower pots.
Robin and I had a beautiful time of fellowship in our Lord. My friend Yolanda came over also, and she and Robin and I all enjoyed one another's comforting presence.
A brand-new friend here at the apartment complex came over. She is a breast cancer survivor, which is what I intend to become. (What I wanna be when I finally grow up). Her name is Mary. She is precious. Mary got me signed up for the American Cancer Society's program in which they provide a patient with a monthly gasoline card for appointment trips. Mary also signed me up for "Meals on Wheels."
Last night, a friend and her two beautiful, intelligent young daughters, Sarah and Savannah---accompanied me to my church for our Good Friday service. It was purely Heavenly! I actually sang along with the songs!
Afterward, they came over and I taught them to play "Skip-Bo" which everyone enjoyed.
Praise God! I am having the time of my life!
