I'm smiling because I WON THE BET.

I'm smiling because of first kisses (not mine, never fear, more's the pity.)

And I'm smiling through the tears...

I'm smiling because I have great kids- I must have done something right!

The gray rainy sky is making me want to yawn instead of smile, but I'm smiling anyway... between the yawns!

Smiling because twins were able to spend last week together --
-- laughing because "guess which twin is which" is always a fun party game to play! (yeah, they tricked a few peeps) --and laughing because some of their peeps were totally fascinated by the twin thing
**FYI side note: it might be fascinating to you to watch twins, but not so fascinating for the twins who have to be watched!! lol!

Smiling because twin 1 had some really awesome PR's for the 1500 & 3000!

Smiling because it's spring break & we're conquering galaxies, snow boarding, and racing... and really smiling because ds doesn't care that I'm awful at it

Smiling with flutterbye, 'cause I know how mischievous 13 year-olds can be...I live with one! LOL! and I know what I acted like at 13...

Smiling because mom is having a pretty good week and she actually is being able to start doing some of the stuff she normally can do, and it makes me smile!

Smiling because we are starting a new program @ our youth group for "Girls Only" and we are going to get together to discuss -God, Guys, S*x, and what all this has to do with us- it's basically going to be a crash course in how to put God first and not guys and how to stay pure mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually! And I get to help teach it, it's so exciting!

I am smiling right now......i feel blessed in dealing with the kids the Lord has specifically given me.......at times i feel like, who am i........i dont know anything.......or what am i really doing......and the Lord alwayz answers, there is a reason and a plan i have given u to them and them to you! I really have them when they are soo small, and sometimes that gets to me.....like i wont be remembered in their little lives, but in the end, i keep reminding myself is the seeds that were planted. The seeds of kindness, of friendship, of love, of gentleness, of......etc, etc, etc.......and this all along with their ABC's.......

I get soo discouraged soo easily about the events of hte world, and what is going on.......but like others have said, all i really do have control over are my own actions........keep that in memory dear friends........and go and do random acts of kindness, and this indeed will be the changing point of our community!

So true Rosie, random acts of kindness to strangers, intersperesed with intentional planned acts of kindness to friends, family and co-workers would make the whole world a better place.

You are a blessing in those young lives, you never know- they may remember you and the love you give them all their lives. They may or may not ever remember your name or what you looked like, but they may remember the feel of a hug or the sound of kindness in a voice.

You also never know when you may just end up in their lives again one day.

As always, hearing Rosie talk about the kids makes me smile. The gift of teaching and loving she has for "her" kids makes me smile.

i am like a litlte mother hen with my kids! another teacher who works with the some other children in her pod reprimanded mine today, and he is going through a HUGE emotional crisis at home, so i've been a tad more leniant with him......well, he cried when another teacher talked to him. And i was like, come here!!!!! I ended up holding and rocking him......and he was soon better! But, stuff like that just gets to me!

i know i need to put a smile here.......so, i'll just say, that i am glad i was there for him. And hope to be able to minister to him and his family in the next couple of months and year that he is w/me!

Smiling, that even though in these most uncertain times, esp. the next couple of months, i do know the Lord is faithful.

Oh my goodness, do I have smiles tonight . I just got in a little bit ago- my DDIL had called and asked me to meet her and the grandkids for dinner at a local BBQ place that is attached to a place that has games and rides and a play area for kids. We had a wonderful time! This old grandma is going to be tired tomorrow, and will probably have a black and blue bottom . In the play area they have this slide type thing that has rollers that you slide down - both kids wanted Grandma to slide with them . I'm sure that was quite a site to see, Ha! One old grandma with one kid in her lap and the other either hanging on her back or else one sitting on each of her legs as we slid over each-and-every-one of those very hard rolling thingys that made up the slide!

But we laughed and had soooo much fun. Wonderful smiles to save up for remembering on a rainy day.

Smiling because I just spent an AMAZING weekend vacation with my family...good times, good times!!

Smiling because, we listened to Joe White speak this morning and he talked about laying down our everything, our all to become bond servants to Jesus, which means laying down even the dreams that we REALLY want...and I finally laid my little "crush/admiration/whatever you want to call it" that I had on SB on that altar, and like Abraham, I wait for my God to send my ram...even when it is painful and I don't want to...I WILL WAIT! And knowing that God is in control makes me smile!

Smiling 'cause I gots to see Kutless and Leeland today...simply AMAZING! Love those guys!

Smiling because seat belts and airbags really do work.

I have officially added them to my list of "smart stuff for stupid people".

Like me.

Smiling because of 100000 + miles of safe driving. (until today. Guess my count will have to start over.)

(Hopefully) Smiling because Shallbe is all right? Not a problem to have to reset the "trip/accident free meter", but big problem is you get hurt!

How about the car, Shallbe? Did it get hurt much?
