So, just copyng what Ms. Joy so eloquently said in our first Smile thread.......

I'm smiling because the smile thread, before being "closed" was 9192 posts! That's a lot of smiles .

Also smiling because Rosie wanted to keep smiling, and pruned and flutterbye are joining in.

Thanks Rosie for keeping it going... hopefully tomorrow we'll all have more smiles to shaer- right now I am too tired to think of much more, it's 2 am, what the heck am I doing up anyway?

I don't think I smile often enough, that's for sure. I don't think I've ever posted in the smile thread, either. So I'll just get started now.

I'm smiling because...

...my voice professor finally said "Wow,...I have nothing to say about that one!" when I sang in lessons yesterday. He's a hard man to impress, but God and I did it!

...my son is home from college until Sunday

...the coffee is ready

shallbe

what a beautiful smile!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rejoicing w/u for the pot that came home!

I just finished watching the news on NBC, and normally this would cause no smiles on my face, BUT recently Bryan Williams asked people to write in and share kindnesses done by ordinary people in these tough times and they would air the stories!!!!!!

Well, i am smiling that in different parts of the country, ordinary people are doing SUCH extraordinary things!!!!

what an inspiration.

Smiling.....picked my son up from aftercare and he says, "Dad, can we listen to Our God is an Awesome God?" I started smiling and didn't realise what he meant.....we were heading to pick up my daughter (1630) from swim practice and we listened to the song until getting home about 30 min ago!!!

Hearing him sing it as loud as he could....well lets just say it was very difficult for me to not laugh...I didn't want him to think I was laughing at his singing when I was laughing at how excited he was and it was awesome to see it!

Here Taco John's has Taco Tuesday which the taco's are .69 cents each so they were also excited about that and they said, "Dad, isn't today taco tuesday?" I reply..."Mmmmhmmm." They get a sparkle in their eyes and say, "Well...can we go get them please?" ROFL.

I reply, "Well, since you asked with such great manners....no." The looks were proceless and I couldn't hold it in any longer, I was rolling. They reply almost as one, "Daaaad!"

Nice round out to a work day I tell ya!

Anyway, enough of my ramblings.....I'm being summoned to play some HALO with my son.....

Toodles!

-Kell

soo, we've been talking about farm animals and this week, it was the birds, chickens, chicks, roosters and turkeys. So, Mon. i come in w/my hardboiled eggs, and i read a story about a chicken laying eggs and the momma hears, tap, tap, tap, and the chick is hatched, etc. Well, we then move to the table make little nests out of playdough for our eggs........the kids put the eggs up their ears and are listening for the tap, tap sound! I'm all laughing.......etc....well, for snack we go and eat the eggs, 2 of my boys are like, we are eating baby eggs. I can hear them say that now. I'm like, no these are not babies. they are just eggs! Argh! lol That was a crazy lesson. Then today was Mr. Rooster, and i'm like he is the daddy. the daddy cant lay eggs. the adults in the class were kindof rolling today hearing the conversations!
Tomorrow is Mr. Turkey! Should be fun......lol

White messages makes me smile.

And Praise Our Lord for JOY; both the state of being that comes from Our Lord AND also that beautiful, wonderful poster!

Smiling because I am completely, madly, and totally in love with...JESUS CHRIST! I just have this joy and contentment that I cannot explain...I know that everything is going to be okay soon, even though I don't know how right now.
