Father this intrusion into Matt's life and the lives of his family members must be like having salt rubbed into a wound. Please help him to know how he is supposed to respond to this. Please I pray the counselor is understanding about the situation and will be able to give encouragement and not just makes things worse. I pray for an immediate connection between Matt and his counselor. I pray you be in the room with Matt and this counselor and Matt will feel your presence. I pray you bless this family and this marriage. Let Matt's employment be secure so that will be one less worry for them.

I confess to you all I have been having thoughts about having an affair. I've not called anyone, contacted anyone or done anything in anyway, and there is no one specific person in these thoughts. This is just passing thoughts in my mind.
I love my husband more than anything in the world. I just want to nip this type of stuff in the bud before it takes root in anyway.
Pray for my protection and that God would keep those thoughts from even entering my mind.
Matt and I have a week of vacation (really a "staycation" as we are hanging out at home) this upcoming week. We have some projects around the house to do and we have a weekend alone at the end of the week to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary.
Ask God to bless this week we have together with overflowing love & laughter and that it would fill our hearts with joy.
We won't have much money this month, due to bills. Please pray that we can have lots of free and fun things to do on our vacation and that God would stretch out our money that we would be surprised and even maybe have some left over :)
Matt will have to see his p.o. during this week. Please pray that goes as well as the past meetings and that it doesn't cloud our time together in any way.

Thank you, Father, for blessing ppodmama and her husband.
Shower them with your goodness during this staycation so that it will be filled with joy and laughter along with everything being positive.
Again, cause the meeting with the P.O. to go very well.
Help ppodmama in every way that she needs help so that she will continue to be faithful to you and to her husband & family.

Oh Father, please take these thoughts from ppodmama's mind. Help her to search her heart so that she may understand why she is having such impure thoughts. Do not let the devil tempt her now when she is on the road to recovery. Replace these thoughts with hope for the future and her family. Let this "staycation be a joyful time, a time of healing, a time of closeness free from the stress that has been such a part of their lives this last year. Cleanse their minds of the horror they have been through and let this be a wonderful time of healing. Thank you Lord for all you have done and all you will do.

Pray for Matt as he has to go to see his p.o. tomorrow at 8 a.m. central.
Please pray that he is home as quickly as previous, and that there are no problems of any kind whatsoever.
Please also pray as Matt will probably learn about his counseling/therapy conditions and such tomorrow. Pray for his mind and soul to be protected from the terrible feelings. I ask again God that You would show much mercy to him and if there is anyway he can not have to do this counseling, that would be a huge.
Pray as Matt leaves the office tomorrow a.m. that the awful feelings he experiences would disappear immediately and we could have a good rest of our vacation and that I could be a help to get him through his feelings.
I also ask for prayers to not worry a smidge while he's gone and that my mood stays positive tonight and through tomorrow. Thanks so much.

Father,
I lift up all of the requests that ppodmama has for her husband Matt. This is a terrible thing for a man to have to go through. Lord, please be with him every step of the way, and make the visit with his p.o. smooth and quick. I ask for Your Will to be done with the counseling and if possible let it come to nothing. Lord, bless Matt and ppodmama with Your Perfect Peace while he is dealing with all of this and let them continue to have wonderful moments together in the hours and days after this p.o. visit. Protect them from the evil one and hold them in Your tender and loving care.

Lord, it is almost asking the impossible for Matt to go into this counseling without resentment but we know you accomplish the impossible. It would lift such a huge load from Matt and ppodmama, Father.
Pray as Matt leaves the office tomorrow a.m. that the awful feelings he experiences would disappear immediately and we could have a good rest of our vacation and that I could be a help to get him through his feelings.
Wipe the memory of this demoralizing meeting from Matt's mind the minute he leaves, Father. Don't let it overshadow the time this family has together. Make this a blessed time, Lord.

hi...we're back online after a full week off
Matt's p.o. meeting went as usual. She came over tonight. She informed Matt he has to start counseling, although he is able to go into a group, not solo counseling, which is better. When he inquired as to how long the counseling would be, he learned it up to the discretion of the therapist based on his "progress"
Matt was angry and frustrated after she left. How do you progress when you didn't do it? He will begin this Thursday more than likely.
Please pray it goes as smoothly as possible...I am telling you he is so frustrated and scared. Pray within moments of being in the session he begins to feel comfortable and walks in sensing the Lord being with him the entire time.
Please keep praying God continues to be our umbrella of protection.
Priase and thanks to God, We did have a decent vacation and a good anniversary weekend alone together. Thank you for being with us...your prayers mean the world.

Thank you for the help that you have given to ppodmama and Matt. Please cause the counseling sessions to go better than expected and to be encouraging. Help Matt to know your presence during each session with the PO and during each counseling session. When he participates in the counseling sessions give him the words to say. Give him enormous favor in the eyes of the counselor as well as in the eyes of the PO. I thank you and pray this in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

Counseling for Matt starts tomorrow night.
Pray for God to invade our worry and fear with peace and strength.
As Matt's wife, I so wish I could be there with him...I hate him having to endure so much of this stuff alone.
Pray for my stoutheartedness as I find myself very broken and teary again.
Please pray the session goes as smoothly as possible...I am telling you he is so frustrated and scared. Pray within moments of being in the session he begins to feel comfortable and walks in sensing the Lord being with him the entire time.
Please keep praying God continues to be our umbrella of protection.
Please pray, as my dear friends have already, that God would reveal to Matt who if anyone he needs to meet through this and that God would give Matt the words to say so he doesn't have any fear.
Pray we can sleep tonight and aren't tormented with a day that drags tomorrow as we really just want to get this over with.

well....unsettling...that would be the word. Matt arrived at his group session and spent the 1st hour filling out paperwork about his personal life. The second hour he entered the group and speaking was a man with a conviction for harming children. WOW!
Matt came home and had to vent and we had to go through the cycle again...shock, anger, acceptance..yuck.
He has an assignment to write what he got out of the session. Pray God would be in his words and that the words would speak clearly to the counselor that Matt doesn't really need this. Since it was the first night, Matt isn't planning on saying anything negative to his p.o., but if it keeps taking this tone and there is no one in his shoes there, he will ask if he can seek out his own counseling or something. It makes no sense to put people like Matt with misdemeanors because of lies and stuff in with felons. No judgements, but the level of treatment should be a little more defined based on the issue.
He has to go every week for 2 hours....pray that our attitudes stay good and we have a protection over our emotions and spirits.
Frustrating that this is over lies again...almost makes us crazy, especially when the accuser, who is doing this kind of thing for the 2nd time, isn't scrutinized in the least.
Please also pray that we are able to make a payment arrangement with our mortgage company. I'm getting tired of this $ thing, but as long as they work with us we will be okay.

Oh Father please make a way for Matt to be able to bear this counseling. If it be your will, Father please let him be able to have private counseling of his choosinng. Lord, let you words come from Matt's mouth. Help him to remember you have put him where he is for a reason. Someone is there who needs to see his faith even through this trial. Thank you Lord.

Father,
Please help Matt to cope well regarding this counseling situation. Give him the words to say in the assignment that he has to write about the session. Help Matt and ppodmama financially so that they will have no problem in making the mortgage payments. Cause one piece after another of the puzzle to fall right into place. We pray for them in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
