Matt and I are pretty certain we are facing some attacks from the enemy right now. It is coming very close the anniversary of all this horrible thing starting and that is emotionally difficult, not in a conscious way, but lurking under the surface and making us both feel beaten and worn down.
My birthday is tomorrow and I don't even care. I just want to fast forward through this month. Not sure if the it's the p.o. visit Monday. Just having a tough time "getting up" for anything.
We ask you to pray for our constant protection, spiritually, legally, emotionally, maritally and family-wise. We need some joyful and lighthearted feelings to make a permanent in our hearts and lives, secured by God's presence and protection. Thank you.

Thank you, Father, for being always faithful—not fickle, not unfaithful on certain days or months, not unstable. But we know that we humans are changeable—sometimes confident, sometimes doubtful.
You know ppodmama’s love for you and trust in you. Please protect her and her husband from all fears. I ask that you continue to bless them and help them without allowing them to be bogged down in negativity. Give them a wonderful joy and appropriate lightheartedness. The new p.o. is coming over tonight between 5-8. Pray Matt and our family find favor in her eyes and that the visit is short and there are no problems of any kind whatsoever.
Pray we are able to relax and have a laughter filled evening after this as well.

There seems to be so much unfairness in this world, Father. It is hard for us to understand, sometimes why people suffer for no reason or why some people are born into horrible environments, or some born with dibilating handicaps and yet we know you have your reasons and we know your free gift is there for everyone. Please lift the burden from ppodmama and return her to that perfect peace that passes all understanding. Thank you for her and her faith through this storm.

Please pray for our families health. We have been battling bad cold/cough/fever for around 10 days now. Please pray God would not let us get infections, nor require medical treatment. Please also pray that we begin to feel better every minute and with enough energy and strength for work and school.
Matt has his meeting with his new p.o. on Tuesdays now. Please pray they allow him to come only once a month, or at least every other week.
In terms of the counseling he has to take, please pray the new p.o. would either see it as not necessary or let it be as mild and undisturbing to Matt and our lives as possible. It's so nuts he even has to do this kind of counseling and had we known it would be this kind, we might not have agreed to the plea deal, so please ask God to not let the counseling harm us emotionally, marital and family-wise,nor legally in any way.
Every time Matt has to deal with this all over the accuser's lies it is so disturbing to our minds because of the anger, the injustice, and the difficulty of dealing with this junk for someone else's lie....
I realize you guys have heard this stuff over and over again. But in all truth, you are the only ones we can be transparent enough with to let you know our emotions and prayerful needs. We'd be so lost without you.
Thank you for your long-suffering willingness to lift us up in prayer.

Father I pray you will take the illness from this family so the children will be able to attend school and the adults will be able to work. Please let this sickness leave their house.

Lord it is obvious that this counseling is not needed and only upsets Matt and his family. If the P.O. has the ability to have Matt receive counseling less often, I pray you will have it cut back. If not, please protect this family from any adverse effects of it.

Oh Heavenly Father, please calm this man's anger over the injustice. Bring peace to his thoughts and heart. Let him know you are in control of this situation and no matter how silly it all seems, you have a reason for it. Help him to let go of his resentment, our dear Father.
I ask again for healing for this family, both physically and emotionally. Lord please let it be enough. Let them be able to pick up the pieces and go on living a normal life. Thank you for all you have done, Father.

It began one year ago today...Sept 29.
I think we are on the up-swing healthwise...I have a wierd sore throat though...
Please pray for our peace, a quick and problem-free meeting for Matt with the p.o. this a.m. (Tuesday) peace for me while he is gone at the meeting as I am so stressed during that time..worried for him and fear of what could happen.
Usually the residue from the meetings lingers throughout the day...pray it is washed away quickly and laughter and joy replace it.
Thank you my prayer friends.

We are making this work trip a bit of a getaway for us too. Please pray that we are healthy and able to really enjoy our first couple time away in almost 6 months.

Matt and I both are very nervous about his counseling. We are so afraid of being invaded by people who don't know us and have an agenda. If we could choose the counselor it would be better. We may even engage our own counselor so we can deal with Matt having to lie.
I think I mentioned before that a condition of his probation is to "admit guilt" for the offense. He could lose probation if he doesn't. So he has to lie to get through this. It seems so absolutely crazy, doesn't it? And of course we don't want him to fail his probation, because that means jail and all that, but we thought the whole point of treatment was to deal with
reality. When you see a system built up over lies, how do you know how to behave if you don't live like this, you know what I mean?
Please pray
