I want to praise God for yesterday. My husband was able to take a test for the betterment of his career and this did so much for his confidence because he was in an environment where no one knew what was happening at work and such, he felt so free. plus he was able to invest in his future by getting this certification and it something positive to focus on.
He was the strongest I've seen him since this all began. Thank You God!
Please pray that feeling of strength doesn't leave him and that we really are in the beginning stages of good things happening.
We are surprising our two children today(13 and 6) with an overnight at a hotel, to give them and us a chance to do something fun together away from all this garbage. Pray that we can have a very blessed time together and maybe even actually forget about this stuff for a while.
Please also pray that our jobs, integrity, reputation and family remain protected from any harm of any kind. Thank you for your faithful prayers.

Father, thank You for all You have already done and will be doing in the future for ppodmama and her husband.
I continue to lift them up to You for comfort and encouragement.
Let the truth be known to all, let friendships be healed, good reputations be rebuilt, and bring peace to their days.
Father, let them have JOY as they take their children out for a night of relaxation and fun.
Lord, please make provision for every good thing they need and keep them in Your will.
Protect them from the evil one and let the outcome be for Your honor and glory as well as their good.

Praise and thanks to God and to you prayer warriors, we have had THE best week we have had in months! Our time with the kids was great as well.
Please continue to pray for our protection, mind and work-wise. My husband has much apprehension about going back to work today, as he was off for 4 days. Pray for the charges to be dismissed or that the plea he wishes to make is eagerly accepted by the DA as soon as possible.
Also ask God to keep our employment protected. Thank you again!

Praise to God. We have had wonderful peace and calm for almost two weeks, especially for my husband at work, since the gossiping co-woker left. There is still pain from the loss of what he thought was a true friend, but pray that her life is blessed and she comes to Christ.
Praise God for His hand in all of this so far. He has done such amazing things!
My hubby's first court appearances is tomorrow. He will be pleading NOT GUILTY. Pray that he and I both begin to feel some strength as it is finally his turn up at bat, and he can finally start to get his side heard. Other requests....
1. It will be hard enough to go through this stuff this week, but we are going away overnight Saturday night and so having good health would help us tremendously. The last few vacation days I've taken one of us in the family has either been or become sick, so this would be huge!
2.Thay hubby has peace and can sleep, and I can too. Pray the begins to feel stronger and protected every day and that I can begin to feel that way as well.
3. Bind Satan from attacking us with any other problems right now.
4. That "the accuser" and her husband and family do not come to the hearing.
Pray that they stay away. They don't have to be there and I think that would be very hard on him if they would harrass or anything like that.
5. For our attorney to prepare a report that prompts the DA to eagerly and quickly either drop charges against my hubby, or to plea to disorderly conduct only.
6. For us to transition quickly and leave the hearing behind on Friday, so that we can really use the date time to connect and bond well. Much of our alone time has clouded with this stuff ever since it happened. It would be nice to be able to totally relax and enjoy each other.
7. For more than abundant funds to take care of our legal and all other expenses.
8. For our time with kids on Friday after the hearing to be fun for them and us. Since we are off of work for the day we are hoping that doing something with and for them moves us from this junk back to reality and that we can bless them with some stress-free time too.
9. For God to protect our emotions from going anywhere that will be destructive, lead to anger and stress, or make us sad or terrified of the outcome.
Thank you my prayer partners. You are a very present help in trouble, a precious gift from God.

Praise God for getting us through the night. We slept wery well. Praise to Him too, as hubby was able to talk to his attorney and she shared with him some things that made him feel more hope.
Please continue to pray for...

I know that You can provide all of the good things that ppodmama and her husband need.
Your provisions are far beyond anything I could possibly ask for.
I thank You for what You are already doing in their lives and what You will continue to do.
Draw ppodmama and her husband to Your heart and keep them in Your care.
Surround them with assurance of a good outcome that is in line with Your Perfect Will.

Please continue to pray for...
1. Our attorney has another court date, so an associate of hers will be with us. Pray we form a quick and good bond with him and find favor in his eyes. I think it's possible she may have been able to prevent some of the things court ordered, like the bond amount
2. Our health to be good. Praise God we stayed healthy this weekend

They did come and this was very hard on my husband AND me. They didn't say anything to us thankfully, but it was very disconcerting to say the least
5. For our attorney's relationship with the DA and her prepared report prompt the DA to eagerly and quickly either drop charges against my hubby, or to plea to disorderly conduct only, with a fine only and no jail or probation. Please pray this with earnest. God may have a different plan to resolve this without lasting consequences on our future, but this appears to be the only way to finish this successfully without anymore damage to our lives.
7. For us to transition quickly and leave the hearing behind on Friday, so that we can really use the family/date time to connect and bond well. Much of our alone time has clouded with this stuff ever since it happened. It would be nice to be able to totally relax and enjoy each other.
Every time we have to do something related to the case it is like ripping a scab off the wound. Friday was no different BUT it didn't last as long. It was still very emotionally draining and the pain was the same
However, we were able to have an awesome couple time Saturday and Sunday that did much to help us recover and draw us closer to each other.
8. For more than abundant funds to take care of our legal and all other expenses. So far, so good.
9.For our time with kids on Friday after the hearing to be fun for them and us. We were able to actually have some fun with the kids, taking them out to lunch and to a comedy movie. It was when we got home that the difficulty arose again
10. For God to protect our emotions from going anywhere that will be destructive, lead to anger and stress, or make us sad or terrified of the outcome. Pray this in earnest as well. WE FACE WHAT COULD BE A VERY DIFFICULT WEEK, IN THAT WE HAVE TO READ THE EVIDENCE OF THE PROSECUTION AND PROVIDE INFORMATION FOR MY HUBBY'S DEFENSE.
No doubt this will bring all the shame and guilt and regret and grief my dear husband has been dealing with to the forefront again. He will also find out what the "gossiper" said about him, which will no doubt break his heart. This is the woman he worked to raise money for her medical bills after she survived a brush with death. At the time of her illness she had no insurance and was raising a 3 year old daughter alone. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body and always tries to help people, so I know he will be crushed by some of what he will read if it is lies. I too will be dealing with my own pain. Seeing things in print seems to hurt me more than spoken words and I have, in the past, felt the want to have an affair for comfort and attention and probably diversion. I am praying that I don't feel these things this time. Please pray for God for us to handle the information with peace and confidence that we know the truth and He does to and we can rest in His arms to work it out that lies won't hurt us and that we can know and guide our attorney to the truth for a successful win of my husband's freedom Thank you all.

My hubby has been having a few issues at work lately. After the court appearance we received a copy of the discovery (evidence of the state) We were shocked. The gal who was the gossiper at work had an 8 page statement to the police, which was 3 times as long as the woman pressing charges!!! It was full of opinion and proof that she stirred up gossip among hubby's co workers. He is just sick about this. Remember, this is the gal we helped out financially when she was recovering from her life-threatening illness. We took her and her young daughter to a church get together with us and she attended our church services a few times. There appears to be a bit of persecution of our faith in these statements as well.
My husband feels betrayed. He was. He is so tired of keeping quiet and not confronting people who continue to gossip about these issues. He just can't do it right now for obvious legal reasons, thus he needs to get all his frustration out, vent if you will, often.
Please pray;
* For the protection of our marriage and that we always love each other more than anything. I can't dream of all the possible ways this whole thing could permanently damage our relationship, but I want it shielded from any bad future.
* That we can stay closely knit together in an unbreakable bond despite all the terrible pressure and stress we are facing.
*My husband's fear over being wrongfully labeled if the worst possible outcome happens and his broken heart over his friends betrayl causing it would have an outlet that is effective and positive.
* God would speak peace to my hubby and always sense God defending him.
* That I would know exactly how to minister to my hubby when he feels this way.
*That while he is venting I would react as Jesus would
* that I would expect him to need to vent every work day. I have ridden this roller coaster of assuming when he is having a good workday or we have a laughter filled conversation, that the venting won't be necessary and we will be able to go through a whole night of not talking about this. I gotta stop that. I need to expect that it will, otherwise I get off guard and feel more sad because I am disappointed.
* Pray that we could have these discussions before dinner. I need to feel like I can get it out of the way and have the discussion when I am not wiped out. I have no patience then and am not ready to discuss it.
*If it can't happen before dinner that it at least will be brief and very effective. I am tired of going to bed after these venting sessions feeling wiped out.
* That I could make peace with my own feelings of anger. I don't have an outlet that won't create more negative feelings, so for me I try to put it away until absolutely necessary to deal with.
*One of my daycare daughters was home with a terrible stomach virus for the last two days,...please pray she is fully recovered and that her single mom and sister and none of us here become ill with the same thing.
