I lift up Apollos in prayer this morning.
May all Your Goodness and Mercy be with him.
Please keep him and his comrades safe, and bless their comings and their goings.
May many come to receive the Good News.
If it is Your Will, make a way for his marriage to take place and for their marriage to be a blessing to You.
May Your Will be done in his life, in the name of Jesus the Messiah I pray. Glory to GOD. Amen.

Father,
My heart joins with prayn4u to lift up Apollos Your servant.
He is headed far out into the bush and may be gone a long time.
Lord, I ask that You surround him with Your protection and love.
Prepare the hearts and spirits of those to whom he will be preaching.
Draw the lost to Jesus Christ and give them a strong desire for
salvation. Help each new convert stand firm with You and give them
courage and strength because they live in Muslim families that likely will
expel them. Help them be witnesses of Your love and grace so that
others will want what they have.
Protect Your work in Niger, Lord, and bring many into the Kingdom.
Lord, if it is Your will, please allow Apollos to receive all of the funds
necessary so that he can marry the young woman he has loved for
a long time.
May Your will be done.

I heard from Apollos today. He has now completed preaching and teaching in 20 Fulani villages
and plans to return to them in the months between August and December so that he can help
the new Christians grow in their faith. Converting from Islam to Christianity is very difficult.
Families often disown anyone who becomes a new Christian in Niger which is one of the poorest
countries in Africa. Their very lives are on the line, and they need to be lifted up in prayer.
Father,
Thank You for letting me hear from Apollos and thank You for the wonderful things
you are doing in Niger among the Fulani.
I ask that You make provision for all of Apollos' needs according to Your Divine Plan.
If it is Your will for him to marry this young woman he has loved for such a long time,
please help him do all that is necessary for it to take place July 25th. There is still
much to be done, and he cannot do it without Your favor.
Lord, Apollos will be returning to the bush in August where he will work with the new
Christians. I pray Your blessings on these trips. Open the hearts, minds, eyes, and
ears of each villager and make them ready to learn more about maturing as a
Christian. Prepare them so that they will be hungry for the Word when he returns.
Protect them from all harm and make it so that their families do not disown them.
Let other villagers see the peace and goodness in each of the new converts so that they
will want Jesus as their Savior too. Draw them to salvation through Jesus, and help
the Good News to spread throughout the country.
Lord, bless Apollos and give him the courage, strength, and wisdom to continue Your
work among the Fulani. It is very easy to despair and lose hope in this extremely poor
country so I ask You to encourage him and help him in his Christian walk.
Father, surround Apollos with Your Divine Protection and keep him safe from the evil one.

Our Father in Heaven,
I pray in agreement with marstacy's above prayer.
Thank You for Apollos and his work for the Kingdom in these 20 villages.
Please bless Apollos' return trips to these villages.
May Apollos find the seeds that have been planted have taken deep root and is bearing fruit.
Protect these new brothers and sisters in Christ from harm and/or ridicule.
May the other villagers see Your Love and Goodness in them and seek Your face.
May each day that passes brings more and more people into Your Fold.
Please shower personal blessings upon Apollos' life and if it is Your Will, may he be blessed with marriage to this woman he loves.

Greetings to you all and to your familys in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
I also hope that you and your children are doing very well my friend, Amen.
Thank you very much for your prayers to me and to my ministry among less educated Fulani people of Niger.
Your prayers are the source of my victory and they are the reason why i am pressing on toward the goal even
with the sufferings like this.

Apollos has needs that just seem to be creeping up on him. There is no way for him to proceed without financial aid.
He said he is trusting God to meet his needs and exceed them because God always makes a way where there is none.
1. He needs additional funds in order to be able to marry the woman he loves on 7/25.
2. His parents, who are not saved, have asked him to travel miles to see them next Tuesday. They are without food. Apollos wants to take care of his parents and he also wants to speak to them again about salvation through Jesus.
3. An evangelism team with Campus Crusade for Christ will be coming 7/23 to Niger (Apollos worked with them 2 years ago). They want to show the Jesus Film and go around speaking and sharing the Good News with many Muslims. A local person always houses and feeds them at least some of the time they are there. Even though Apollos only has half of the money he needs to marry, he invited the evangelism team to his 7/25 wedding where he will be feeding them (40 additional people). That is how great his faith is. Mine is pale in comparison!

Father,
Apollos has needs that require financial aid. Could you please rescue him and send the funds he needs to feed his parents, get married, and take care of the evangelism team.
Lord, there are lost souls that need salvation, and Apollos needs Your help to reach them with the Good News of Jesus Christ. I pray that You will bless the efforts of the evangelism team and that many will come to Jesus.
Please draw Apollos' parents in such a way that the next time he talks to them about Jesus they will accept Him as Savior. Open their spiritual eyes and ears and soften their hearts so that they will be saved. Help Apollos feed his parents and take care of their needs. He is a good son and wants to care for them but he does not have a way to do that. He even needs help with transportation to get to his parents’ home.
There is much to be done, Lord, and we are trusting You to make a way for the outcome of all of this to be better than anything we can imagine.
Protect Apollos and give him peace. Surround him with Your Divine Love and keep him in Your tender and loving care.

Father,
Thank You for placing Apollos in my life. Even though we will probably never meet
while I am on this earth, I can sense You working in him in a way that is beyond
anything I experience in my ordinary days. I give You all of the glory for what he
is doing for Your Kingdom. Bless his life, please give him the solace of a loving
wife, draw his parents and family to salvation through Jesus, and prepare the
hearts of those who will hear him preach and teach about Jesus and bring many
of the lost in Niger into the fold.
Lord, please make provision for his physical and financial needs and give him the
things that You know are best.
Protect him from the evil one and keep him in Your tender and loving care.

Praise God! I heard from Apollos after a long time of silence. Computer crashes and all kinds of things occurred.
HE GOT MARRIED FINALLY AFTER YEARS OF WAITING AND HOPING! Hadjara is her name.
Two evangelism teams arrived during the wedding time and many souls were saved from their efforts and your prayers! Thank You!
Father,
Please give Apollos enough funds so that he can go and do the work You have for him to do.
Bless this marriage and hold husband and wife close to Your Heart. Keep them well and free
from all harm. Thank You, Lord, for giving Apollos the consolation of a helpmate so that he
will not be lonely and will have someone to share in his work for You.
Bring more souls to salvation through Jesus as a result of the visit from the two evangelism
teams. Bless those who accepted Jesus as Savior and help them grow and mature in the faith.
I also lift up Apollos’ parents and ask that You draw them to You and open their spiritual eyes

Father,
I ask Your blessings on Apollos' new marriage and pray that You will keep this couple
under Your Sheltering Wings. Help them both to submit through love to Your lordship.
Be with Apollos as he travels around in the bush telling people about salvation through
Jesus Christ. Prepare the hearts and minds of those who hear this message and lead
them to give their all to Jesus.
Send workers into this field in Niger because there are many there who I believe will
come into Your Kingdom once they hear about Jesus. Please provide the funds
Apollos needs that will enable him to preach and teach in many places.

Father,
Thank You that Apollos had a beautiful wedding and spent time with many friends and family during
this precious time. Thank You that he is also eager to be about Your business again. He is traveling
out into the bush to follow up with many in various villages who accepted Jesus as Savior but still
want to be baptized. Be with him, lead him, and protect him through all of his travels. Several villages
have indicated that times are so bad for them that they won't have food to feed him so I pray that
You will open up the storehouse in Heaven and rain down abundance on them. Make provision for
the financial aid Apollos needs in order to be able to go to many places to preach and teach about Jesus.
Lord, bless his marriage and help his wife, Hadjara, be a good partner with him in Your work. I pray
that You will touch the hearts of his parents and other family members who are still Muslim and have
not accepted Jesus as their Savior. Please, Lord, draw them to You and remove the scales from their eyes.
Help them to see that Jesus is the Way, and the Life, and the Truth.
Protect Apollos and his family from the evil one and keep them safe from all harm.

Father,
I haven't heard from Apollos in a while. I pray that You will help him adjust to marriage and a larger family now that
he has many in-laws. Give him encouragement and Joy and help him be the man and husband You want him to be.
Lift up his wife, Hadjara, and help her to be a wonderful partner with him in ministry. I pray that they are both well
and that You have Your Mighty Hand of Protection on them. Bless Apollos' ministry and go before him to prepare
the hearts of those who will hear him preach and teach about Jesus. I pray that many will be saved because of his
efforts to bring the salvation message to the lost.

Apollos contacted me with prayer requests. He continues to preach and teach among the Fulani in Niger and needs our prayers for his ministry and family.
1. He believes he needs to be connected to a larger ministry such as Campus Crusade for Christ or others in Niger in order to be able to do what he feels God has called him to do. Right now everything he is doing is 100% his responsibility financially and the reproduction of Bible materials and teaching materials is very expensive. Pray that one of the larger International ministries will offer him a position so that he has access to their facility and resources and can spread the word to more lost people.
2. His mother nearly died and is still ill. Pray for her health.
3. He needs $200 to pay his wife's tuition or she will have to drop out of something that is important for their family. Pray God will provide.
4. Several of his family members (Muslims) have expressed interest in Jesus Christ. Pray for their salvation.
5. Pray that God will open the doors so he can return to 20 villages where seeds have been planted among the Fulani. Several accepted Jesus as Savior, and he needs to return to baptize them. He wants to bring the salvation message to more in these villages. Being able to return is critical to helping new converts grow as well as bringing more to the Kingdom.
6. He is praying for a Discipleship Center to open in February 2010. Thirty men have been chosen from various villages who will travel there and spend 3 intensive days in Bible study and then return to their villages to help in the discipleship of new converts. Pray for funds that are needed for the facility and also to aid the men who will be trained.
7. Pray that God continues to allow preaching of the Gospel in Niger. In some Muslim countries it means instant death if you are even caught with a Bible much less actually preaching and teaching. While Apollos runs into problems among individual Muslims, there is not a central police force searching for Christians to stop them or kill them. Pray that God will allow this freedom to continue.
8. One brother has sent his 2 daughters to Apollos and his wife and asked them to raise them as Christians. The brother had not accepted Jesus and yet he seems to think highly of Christians, especially his own brother. Pray that the girls will become dedicated Christians and will dedicate their lives to following Jesus.

Father God,
I thank You for Apollos who loves you and desires to serve you according to Your Perfect Will. He is discouraged because the needs are great, and I humbly ask that You hear this prayer for Apollos. I know that You will answer in ways that are so much better than anything I could ever ask for and I thank You right now.
I lift all of these needs up to Your Throne of Grace and ask You to provide what Apollos and his family need according to Your riches in glory. Bless Apollos and his wife Hadjara, help them to have a strong marriage, and help them to raise his brother’s 2 daughters in such a way that they want to become Christians and can take the salvation message back to their home village someday. Help them in their schooling and help them grow up in a way that is pleasing to You. Please provide the tuition that Hadjara needs if this is Your Will, Father.
Lord, please place your healing hand on Apollos’ mother and bring her back to full health again. I pray that You will open his parents’ spiritual eyes and ears so that they will want Jesus as their savior. I also pray for those in his and Hadjara’s family who are lost, that they will come to saving knowledge of Jesus My Lord.
Father, make it so the discipleship center becomes a reality so that many can train there and go back to their villages to make new converts and will be able to teach them how to grow and mature in the Lord. Help Apollos reach each village and each person that You have ordained. Lord, give him the financial means for good transportation and if possible I ask that one of the large international ministries offer him a position so that he can reach more lost ones with the Gospel message. He feels he needs this help, Father, and if it is Your Will please make it happen.
Father, I pray that You will bless all of Apollos efforts and multiply the number of people who are reached for Jesus. Give him wisdom and strength as he does Your business. Protect him, Hadjara, his parents and all of his family from the evil one and hold them in Your most loving and tender care.
I ask all of these things in the name of my Precious Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, Amen!
