I really like this song! It is from the Portable Sounds CD, and features both Kirk Franklin and Mandisa on it. The song is a break from what you might normally hear on Christian radio and I welcome it.

I also highly enjoy this song. My 6-yr-old loves it too, and comes running to tell me it is on the radio whenever it plays.

It is very.... "groove chill", I suppose one could say, with an extremely catchy hook/chorus. I think Toby is one of the best music producers out there, his work is always so polished. I haven't picked up this album, but most likely will soon.

I really like it as well. Toby, and Kirk are both great guys with great messages. My fav. part of the song is talking about the lure of fame (peaking at the charts), and "the first thing to prosper should be inside of me". Love that line.

It is surely different than most of the CCM that is out there right now, and yet marketable enough to fit with CCM playlists as well.

I'd love for them to play it on my local station. I love all the collabs with Toby and Kirk and with Toby and Mandisa. They have returned the favor by being on each other's albums.

Just saw Toby Mac in concert this weekend with Relient K and Family Force Five, whereas Toby did this song live, it brought the house down, (for lack of better terminology) The entire stadium singing... was nice yeah!! Otherwise, I wasn't necessarily a big fan of that song but I do think it is lyrically one of the better songs out there.

It's definitely different, and that's a great thing. Too bad it took Toby Mac's name to get it played. If he weren't there it would never have seen a minute of airplay on my "Family Safe" radio station. However, in forty minutes of listening time yesterday driving to and from work, I heard it three times. That falls under the beating a song to death category.

uncabeeil- On more modern radios in more... modern automobiles, they have a button that allows you to change channels, I'd have to assume that you are driving a vehicle produced sometime after 1940 that would allow you this luxury, try looking in the middle of the dashboard console area either beside or underneath the frequency display area. There you should find buttons numbered 1, 2, 3... you can push one of those. I'll also venture to say that someone in your family has pre-programmed those buttons to locate favorite radio stations? I'll look forward to hearing your excitement when learning how this process works...

I'm going to assume the previous post was supposed to be humorous and not a personal attack on my intellect. Because otherwise I'd have to report you to Admin.

There is one, count them, one, Christian radio station in the NY metro area that isn't more than a local church station. That one is "Family Safe". You know the format as well as I do.

Nuff said.

I also love that line! The song in general is just great!

It's a great song - even has a slapped bass line (well at least for a minute). I can't wait for the 8-Track to come out !

Guess that means it's in heavy rotation then.

It has yet to be played on mine...

"Made To Love", yes...the latter.....ummm...nope! Too "urban" for some folk...

Really? In what way? I listen to Air-1 most of the time and it doesn't sound "out of place" at all IMO.

My 9 yo REALLY loves this song.

Everything Tobymac puts out is always the highest quality. We're lucky to have him writing Christian music. Hopefully he never goes secular or comes out of the closet or just gets fed-up and quits CCM.

My CCM FF radio station does not play the whole song anymore! They edit out Kirk's part!

I love that song....K-love, Air1 and Way has the guts to play Toby's records anyways. At least they do go out of the norm (I applaud them too playing Mandisa's music) instead of the so-called Christian stations which cater to soccer moms who do not have a clue.

Just a thought.....

Whoa!!! Kirk had a part in the song too? Now I'm mad at my FF station ! It's funny, though, that this song song does NOT get played on our local gospell station. Could Toby Mac be too funky for gospel? Not only that, but I have yet to hear any of Mandisa's music on that station either.

Doesn't that pretty much give a nutshell sumation of what's wrong with Christian radio in general? ("Beating a song to death" seems to be general rule, once it's made it onto the playlist.) Also the fact that some stations will play an edited version that wipes out the artist(s) who doesn't particularly fit their demographic really burns my biscuits. Leave a decent song alone, for pitty's sake! I've only heard it on the XM Christian station, and it's always been the full version.

Yup! Yet they play remakes of secular songs...
