Dave, if I understood correctly, "traditional church" is the usual group that meets in "church" buildings on Sunday mornings, that would include Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, Catholic, etc. I don't think it was intended as a bad thing, just a statement of fact.

Within those "traditional churches" you'll find people that have never been saved but are very "religious" and open to anything presented to them without using spiritual discernment - because they aren't capable. Those types may comprise a majority of members/attendees in some such churches and, perhaps, are among its leaders.

But real believers and disciples of Jesus are usually mixed in with the fakes.

Jesus told the parable of the Wheat and Tares that speaks to that situation.

Hi! Anyone using the new 2008 Baptist Hymnal at your church? If so, how do you like it???
We have all our songs and liturgy on the over head.

Does it have "Roni Roni," "Hodu L'Adonai" or "Hine Ma Tov" in it?

I know it would not have any songs from Oheli Rachamim, our sister congregation in Haifa.

Gotta say, I much prefer the wall.
We don't need no education
We dont need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teachers leave them kids alone
Hey! Teachers! Leave them kids alone!
All in all it's just another brick in the wall.

Hmmm....Never thought about using this as a praise tune.

Thanx, Jim,
I kinda thought that's what he meant. If that's the case, I agree.
