Allrighty then, Jhud. Samwise Gamgee was a ringbearer for a short time in the tower at Mordor. Samwise Gamgee switched rings on poor Frodo, keeping the one ring, the ring of power, and watching the elves sail away. Gollum died with some ring of invisibility, which he thought was the real ring, as did Sauron. That's why there's still evil in the world. The dark lord was fooled, and the elves were fooled, but Sam found revenge for being made to look like a pig, even when there was no lipstick around.

Hmmm....

I didn't have a ringbearer at my wedding and what's written above makes no sense.

To me anyway.

Jhud wanted a Lord of the Rings conspiracy. This is not a very good one. You are right that Frodo carried the ring most of the time. However, after he was stung by the spider and wrapped by that spaghetti machine, Sam took the ring so the bad orcs couldn't get it.

Luke did have his hand cut off, but that was a sci-fi movie.
