This is my all time favourite and it's sung by a fellow Scot - Ian White. I hope you enjoy it:

The Cross is Still There

If we're allowed two songs, how about this one. The singer may be unknown in the USA - but not the song.

Me too mvic. The enemy is obviously not amused - my dog is barking so loud I can hardly hear the music. He was quiet before I started to play these hymns and songs tonight! Or maybe it's the joyful noise I'm making!!! [sm=purplelaugh.gif]

Anthem of Praise is powerful stuff. Wonder how many hearts are lifting Him up in praise at this moment in time? I donwloaded this tonight along with Millenium Prayer. I don't doubt there will be a few more others as the days go by.

Great is Thy Faithfulness
Lamentations 3:22-23

Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father,
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not;
As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be.

Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above,
Join with all nature in manifold witness,
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thy own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessing all mine, with ten thousand beside!

Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided -
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me!

Sometimes when we are going through difficulties, the last thing we may want to do is praise the Lord; however, that is exactly a good time TO PRAISE THE LORD.

When we focus on Jesus (and not ourselves or our problems), He comes and inhabits the praises of His people. He draws alongside us with His presence and we are encouraged and strengthened in Him.

We have battle tactics we can employ when we are facing difficulties and attacks from 'enemy lines': Praising and speaking forth Scripture (relevant to our situation) both help in times of stress, doubt, uncertainty, etc because praise 'creates an atmosphere of confusion' for our enemy and speaking Scripture 'penetrates enemy darkness'...... and the enemy doesn't like sticking around in such an atmoshpere or where there is Light!

Please listen to this. This is exactly what I mean. Although a babe in Christ, this child is a spiritual giant and knows how to push back the enemy darkness to the Glory of God.

Link: Praise the Name of Jesus

"A little child shall lead them......" This little child and her siblings are certainly a good example of such.
