There is no such thing as a little or big sin. The wages of sin is death. The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. There is no in-between.

I guess ignorance is bliss because I don't think jaywalking is illegal where I live, and if it is,. I don't think it is illegal

so if humbleinspirit visited me, and we jaywalked he would be sinning, but only if it were the law of the land?

Makarizo~ Noticed your post says think?! Y ou did not state a fact, so are assuming that it is okay, because you saw other folks do it.

However in light of all this Buckin said it best.... Sin is Sin and all sin leads to death

But delete123 - if jaywalking is not illegal in his town, how is it a sin?

*if* there is no law, then there is no sin.
The o/p states in their town jaywalking is not allowed. ( so that one would be sin)

Like where I now live I jaywalk and am not aware of their laws, so do not know if its legal, but who knows they don't have side walks either

I drive the speed limit or under the speed limit; even on the Interstates.

A lot of folks zoom past me, honking their horns, and waving me a one fingered salute.

The only thing that perplexed me is that I know I am number one; but how in the world do oll those folks speeding past me know that I am number one?

Thanks
RC

Wow. That's just one of the things I love about you. A preacher who believes that he is not above the law. I haven't met many of those. Some day, I would like to meet you and your sweetheart. Maybe out camping. We could park our campers with a firepit in between, do stuff we want through the day, then all of us get together at night to chat and sing around the fire. Yeah. I'd like that. Very much.
Popsi, there's a bed for you above the drivers' seat.

By the way, Popsi, I should tell you that the bed above the driver's seat is my favorite one, because I can fall asleep while watching the stars. But I will give it up for you, for our imaginary "camping trip."

Doing well, finally! Yea! Just came in to the office to work on a project I am doing for myself. The computer is not fixed yet, so I can't do it at home.

The chart is about the holy days on the Hebrew calendar, but part of what the chart is about is how serious sin is to G-d. It becomes very clear, when looking at the chart, following the Scriptures. (And I needed to stay in the subject of the thread! )

Hope you are doing well!

Driving to work this morning, as I approached my office building, there are crosswalks with a seamingly nonstop flow of pedestrians. I stop and wait for them. I finally get a break. Then as I am driving, accelerating up to a whole quarter-mile-per-hour, some guy starts jaywalking outside the myriad of crosswalks! I couldn't believe it ...... and this thread came to mind.

I got a chuckle out of this, it reminds of being downtown Boston. You have to drive with your brakes, lol
