When a thread as a whole gets nudged on topic, that doesn't count against each individual poster in the thread, does it?

Good question, but if answered briefly, I'll ask the same thing because I don't know what you mean by nudged.

All I've seen is when the whole thing is up and moved... transported, to where it is deemed more appropriate. Where it was, there's now just a little teleporter link to take you to its new home.

Is that what you mean by nudged 'on topic'? Oh! maybe the whole thing was shut down for being against TOS? Now you see it, but later it is gone? If that was the case, I think there'd be a PM to you from a mod saying the mod circle had met and struck the whole thing down, the reasoning, etc. etc.

nudged means a mod will come in and say "now this isn't what the original post wanted to talk about, things are off track get back to what the thread is about please"

Usually if action is taken against your account you would receive a PM.

Also a nudge will often start with something like this:

Moderator's Nudge (or note)::

and/or end with:

Do not send me Pm's about this.
Do not discuss this in the public forums.

Oh, that's what that proclamation is called. Thanks!
