It's on Lifetime tonight.

Just wondering what others might think of it?

BTW- the movie is based on the novel that Beverly Lewis wrote by the same name. It's a story about a woman who lives in a big city and is very modern, no children, not married. Her sister and BIL are Amish and they have five children. The sisters haven't really had a relationship since the one sister went Amish. The Amish parents die, leaving the modern sister to raise the children.

Shouldn't this be in movies?

Is this the first movie or the second? I have seen the first and have the second on my queue on Netflix. I really enjoyed the book.

I put it here because I thought that it was made for TV. I have to say that the beginning and the ending where similar to the book, but the middle was the total opposite.

I own this DVD. I really liked the movie. It almost made me want to become Amish! LOL I say that jokingly but in all honesty I've always longed for a "simpler" life. I often quip that one day I'm going to buy a 500 acre farm and move off into solitude just to get away from all the crazy things in life.

The Amish do have a wonderful quality of life, but they don't have the internet. [;)]
