*sigh*

Just got an email from the school saying Thing 2 is offically failing math. *cries*

It's his multiplication drills. So I printed a bunch of drills off the internet and we're going to work on them to get his grade up. I'm going to call her and see if there is anything we can do extra credit wise to get his grade up as well.

This is weird because he just got his 9 weeks report card and he made all A's and B's.

*sigh*

Pray that we are able to bring it up.q

Tinker - see if you can find the School House Rock DVD. And play the Math Rocks sections over and over and over again! Pretty soon multiplication will come super easy!

Ty's school had it's second bomb threat in a week today. They were on lock down while the sheriff's department checked things out. That took about an hour Ty said and he fell asleep during it. He wasn't feeling all that hot to begin with and after the lock down was over he went to the office and had them call me to come get him. He had 103 temp at that point. He's feeling a bit better and his temp is down to 99 now. He only had 3 classes on the agenda for today anyway since it was a half day.

Blessings,

Garsy

Hey if you would say a few prayers for our community here locally. The church down the street holds a big Halloween thing every year and this year was no different. There were at least 50 cars and vans all decorated up and families handing out candy from the trunks. It is great. We had a great time again this year.

However about 40 minutes after getting home we heard ambulance and fire truck sirens come flying through town and head up church way. The church is only three blocks away, less if you cut across backyards. This was at about 9 PM when all the cars and people were cleaning up and getting ready to leave. About 15 minutes later the ambulance went flying out of town toward the next town over that has a hospital, again with sirens blaring - so you KNOW it was serious. Then 20 minutes later we heard another set of sirens up near the freeway about 2 miles down the road. Come to find out that a police car was struck by someone going the wrong way down the freeway! I still haven't heard what happened in town here, but whatever it was it had to be serious because of the way the ambulance went flying through town.

Ty's temp is up again. He's at 100.6 now. He spiked out at 103.7. If we can't get it to come down we maybe off to the doc again.

I'm headed to bed, but don't think I'll be sleeping too soundly. I never do when one of my kiddos is sick.

Blessings,

Garsy

November's thread is up but I couldn't do a link because I kept getting an error when I tried to do one. Happy thread hunting.

ETA: Yay!!! I'll make it a relative link when the system is working properly (if the mods haven't locked it by then)
