The unredeemed sinner may boast in his accomplishments,He or She may boast in their silver and Gold(so to speak) but who am I that I should boast in anything?All that I have accomplished will be as vapor when the Lord is through with this world.
I Samuel Sey(Sammy-S) have nothing of importance to boast about,but through the mercy of My Lord Jesus Christ I will boast that while i was yet a sinner He died for me,While I was helpless he died for me.While slaves are redeemed by silver and Gold,My Lord Christ bought me with his very blood.
What King with self-respect would have died for slave?What man/woman would have died have for a slave?Would even a slave die for a fellow slave?
None would have died for me nor would their blood have covered the multitude and horridness of my sins!
How Beautiful is my Lord?How beautiful is the Gospel?
The Lord in his perfect justice was angry with me everyday(Psalm 7:11) because of my sins.
Yet out of his Mercy he chose to crush(Ish.53:10) the only person(Jesus Christ) who had ever pleased him (Mat.3:17)
All this so that justice would be accomplished while I a wretched sinner be forgiven AND not only forgiven but to be counted as righteous through the righteousness of Christ imputed in me.
As If the Lord has not done enough mighty things,out of his grace,love and delight, he has chosen to keep me in his hands until all is complete in his sight!
"My sheep listen to my voice, and I know them and they follow me.
"I am giving them eternal life, and they shall never perish, nor shall any one snatch them out of my hand.
"My Father who has given them to me is stronger than all, and no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand
