I have FIOS and they are running the show onDemand (yippie...now if I recorded these to DVD I'd have commercial free epsiodes). Looks like they'll be running more NBC series onDemand as well. FIOS is not yet up to the point where their onDemand has as big a variety as Comcast.

Now I'm wondering if my comcast has the episodes available on demand... must check this afternoon. Looking forward to tonight's episode. I'm interested to find out about the painter guy in the African desert that Parkman met up with. --Kat

Parkman is the policeman? Is that his last name?

Well, what'd ya'll think of last night's episode? Sylar is now a good guy sorta? That's crazy. AND, Claire's dad (forgot his name) is working with him.

He killed two people in order to get their powers in Monday night's episode (one of the escapees, and earlier, a woman that Mrs. Petrelli basically handed over to him to "feed" on). Obviously Mrs. Petrelli has done something to ensure Sylar's cooperation, at least for the time being. I was just thinking on Monday that Elle reminds me of Miss Parker from The Pretender.

I'm interested in what's going on with Dr. Zimmerman. Since he "created" Nicki and Tracey I'm wondering if he's the evil scientist or if it is Shuresh. --Kat

Quite serious about Hayden and Milo. I wasn't sure about it myself, so I did a google search and there's quite a few articles talking about the new couple. I'm sure she's pretty mature for her age. There's a very nice lady who posts here at CW, whose husband proposed on her 18th birthday, and he's 10 years older then her. They have 3 kids now.

I'm not sure if Hayden is 19 yet or not, but Milo and Hayden been dating since she turned 18...so I'm thinking it's been at least 8 or 9 months. There were rumors for months before it was officially confirmed. One thing positive I can say about the two of them...they've been very low key about it. Perhaps because of the age thing...but I also think in general they both seem very serious about their work and don't do a lot of outrageous things (well, except for Hayden's save the dolphins thing). And I do think Hayden may well be mature for her age. She's been in the business since she was like seven or so. She started out on "The Guiding Light" as Lizzie Spalding. I joke with my daughters about them...emo boy and the cheerleader, two incredibly cute people with two impossible to pronounce last names. And I still think there is a possibility that Clare is going to turn out to be really Adam's daughter, not Nathan's (which would allow Claire and Peter to, well, be a couple later on if the writers and producers want that). Claire being Adam's daughter would make sense because of the whole immortality thing and what has been brought up more than once that Claire is something "different" then just having powers. Plus...isn't dark hair usually genetically dominant over blonde hair? Especially with one parent of an ethnic background where most people have dark hair (Italian, re: Petrelli) and would likely have a pair of dark-hair genes.

Well, my dH and I both have brown hair and our son is a strawberry blond, but there's lots of blond in our family. I think you're right about the Italian thing, though. Like I said, they have good chemistry, so it sure would be interesting if she was Adam's daughter. I didn't know they've been dating that long; I did know they were denying rumors long before confirmation. I think they look very sweet together.

I heard red hair (and green eyes) is a genetic mutation. That it's just a fluke. I wonder if that's true.

Well, regarding the genetics, with all the stuff that the writers and producers apparently haven't thought through, maybe they never even considered whether a dark-haired man of Italian descent (likely on both sides, since Mama Petrelli looks Italian as well) would have a blonde daughter.

You're right that it's probably just the writers not thinking it through, but it does make for interesting speculation. But I've seen a lot of red haired families, so I think it is an inherited gene.

I thought this week's episode was good - the best of this season so far. Interesting that Future Peter (or, was it Future Moheinder-Bug?) told Present Peter to get Sylar's power - but now Present Peter can't control it. Sylar has a severe urge to feed, like a vampire...and now Present Peter is like a newly-turned vampire, undisciplined and out of control! And how about Sylar triggering the explosion? It was almost exactly what happened to Peter at the end of the first season. Future Claire was getting too much satisfaction from carving up Present Peter. I have to wonder what made her character SO very twisted. The Matt/Daphne thing I never saw coming, except I had seen the hair in the paintings last week and wondered if it was Daphne or Elle. And Molly was back in the future, as a sulky adolescent. Hiro and Ando right now...ehh. Nothing much going on with them. Nathan and Tracy...saw that coming a mile away. So...is Tracy OK with her powers now that she knows other people have powers too?

Genetics: There are plenty of blond Italians..even in families where dark hair is the rule. While dark hair is dominant all it takes is both parents having recessive light hair genes (blocked by their dominant dark hair genes in their own life) and those genes matching up. This is not an unusual occurence and with 1 blond parent (Claire's birth mom) it increases the odds a lot. I personally have dark brown hair and 3 of my 4 kids are blondes. That isn't to say State's Adam theory isn't correct. That would be interesting. Just that hair color doesn't preclude Nathan being Claire's father.

I'm glad to see Adam re-entering the picture. I've missed his crazy self! So, speculation as to who's "coming back from the dead next week"? --Kat

holy smokes...what an episode! do ya think future Mohinder turned into something like The Fly with the whole things falling of your body stuff? if Claire really killed both Peters, then who's going to stop Sylar from exploding when his son dies? all the back-n-forth, 4 years into the future, present day, 4 years earlier...I stay pretty confused until the end of the season. I'm just along enjoying the moment we're in right now

I think they've set up Mohinder to be a spider (sticky webs on his fingers), even though the background noise sounds like a rattlesnake. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if that guy he grabbed was going to be his first meal. I don't think Peter or Sylar/Gabriel can die. Of course the future Peter is dead so who knows. I thought he picked up Claire/Adam's ability but it is just a television show. Dh and I were getting a little annoyed with this past episode. Maybe everything was too short or the acting was worse then usual, I'm not sure. The most interesting scene was Gabriel/Sylar wearing horn rimmed glasses, naming his son (his?) Noah, and living in Claire's old house. Then Claire telling someone (Peter? Sylar?) that they stole her life. Our guess was Papa Bennet reformed Gabriel and then died helping him (although it did cross my mind that maybe he was the boy...the boy seemed older then 3 to me but this isn't Marvel comics yet). If they kill off HRG though I'm going to have to stop watching. He's my favorite character.
