mutinywxgirl -> Another C++ question (9/16/2008 8:54:10 PM)

Okay, folks - this is an SOS for my best friend's daughter (who I have now been told it's time for me to become mom to - now that she's in college). She's in C++ programming and is struggling (and she's a brilliant student). Does anyone know this programming language?

Thanks!

What I suggest you do is go on IRC -> Efnet -> #C++ . I'm sure they will be able to help.

What's the problem?

I have no idea - she has weekly projects and seems to be getting stuck each time - I don't know programming at all.

Anyway, I found out that she was up until after 2am, and I think got it figured out.

I took a class on it in school, if you miss one bracket or semicolon it throws the whole thing off. Drove me nuts

I'm sure it's something like that for her - I'll let her know that others survived! [:)]

Perhaps her teacher is as bad as mine was. It's definitely a tough class. The only way I made it was the learning center student tutor. Perhaps there is a tutor around that would be able to help.

I did find out that she was able to find one student who will help her for 30 minutes after each class - I guess just to get her started on the right track. Also, someone stepped up and has offered to help her too.

She did get that project finished - at 2am!
