I've seen ads for a preview tonight of the upcoming season of 24. I don't think it ever said when, though. This new show Fringe is on now. I'm assuming the 24 clip will be in the middle or at the end of this to get people to watch the new show? I hope because I missed the beginning. Please tell me I didn't miss the 24 preview!! That would be the first of anything ever aired related to 24 that I've missed!

Nope, you haven't missed it. It started with a preview of a movie called The DAy the Earth stood still - then went to Fringe. I agree with you - it is probably on at the end. I don't think they will break up the intensity of Fringe. Besides - we watched Fringe the other night, and it was 90 min. And this is scheduled for 120. That would give us 15 min at the end for 24.

They showed the preview tonight. It looks great. Jon Voight is in the show this season. I can't wait for November now.

I heard they wanted to take it out of the country and the rumor was it would be set in China. I'm so glad they didn't go that way. It looks good - kinda intense with all those kids in danger but good! It looks completely different. I only saw a couple returning characters, minor ones. All new people - I guess because they killed everyone off! I think this is how they needed to go with it, kinda a clean slate.

I don't know if it is online yet. I would imagine today it will be loaded up - always seems to take about a day...


The website said that the season will include Bauer being on trial...so, last night was just the preview to the Nov. event, not the "series" in Jan. Did I understand that correctly?

Course...in order for him to be on trial - one would assume they have to catch him first................hehehe

Yup-- the preview last night is the 2 hour movie which will be prequel for the one in January. Chloe will be back and Tony - at least from what I read on imdb and Kim [&:]

I am in Ohio, but we got a huge windstorm yesterday that was from the remnants of Ike. Power was only out 16 hours, so not as bad as those in Texas.

We did lose 15 trees in our yard though, and most of them were pretty big. Nothing hit the actual house, though, so that is a blessing.
