The possibility of more than one gunmen is now plausible:

JFK bullet analysis doesn't rule out more than one gunman

The professor of statistics at Texas A&M University organized a six-member team that compared the composition of bullet fragments from the JFK shooting with other bullets from the same manufacturer.

The group found that those fragments weren't nearly as rare as the government's expert witness concluded in 1976, when Dr. Vincent P. Guinn determined that all five fragments came from two bullets fired by Lee Harvey Oswald. A third shot missed.

"The claim was made that those five fragments could only have come from two bullets," Dr. Spiegelman said. "Our research showed it could have been two or more.

"And if it is more than two, there is an increased likelihood that someone else provided one of them."

I've always been facinated with the JFK assasination. I'm not for sure what happened with that one, but it does seem a bit odd.

I've been to the book building and also took the convertible ride where they go along the JFK path several years ago. I've seen many documentaries on it so I find it interesting too.

There was a time that the assassination was the most scrutinized article (for lack of a better word) followed by the Shroud of Turin. That was before 9/11 so I don't know which one has been studied most now.

I think however many gunmen there were...they were all members of the US government. And i also think that JFKs son was really close to finding it out and thats why he is dead now as well.

The keyboard player for Pink Floyd was about to come forward but he just died. Jerry Garcia died "in his sleep" at a "treatment center". Sure. I think he was a co-conspirator.

I know it is nice to make fun of conspiracy theories, but of all the historic events that have been shrouded in ideas of conspiracies, I think ideas of conspiracies surrounding the JFK assasination have been the most plausible.

Plausible in the sense, not so much of the physical evidence, but the times in which it happened, and the people closest to the events that may have led up to that day.

The 60's were a time of change and turmoil on many levels in America. JFK was the personification of what America was about, and what it was going to be about, back then.

In 1973, I was watching a program on PBS about the Kennedy assassination. There was a photograph shown ... it was man behind the white fence aiming a rifle! That is the only time I have ever seen this photo ... wonder why? Saw too where the "magic" bullet could have happened but that isn't the bullet that killed Kennedy. According to some reading there were several shooters that day. I agree, I think John Jr. was close to finding the truth. Jackie Onasis died she left a letter to opened, I believe, 25 years after her death. Wouldn't you love to read that letter? That letter probably holds the truth. The book Jim Garrison wrote about his investigation should be read closer. That man was truly on to something ... the truth!
