That isn't the only reason but it is a nice benefit!

With Choice Hotels it will be next week before all dates of the NQC can be booked, you can only book online 51 weeks in advance. I have Sun-Mon booked right now at the Jeffersonville Comfort Suites for 89.99. I plan to change the reservation to include through Saturday night.

ORIGINAL: Smokymtnsanta D. If you book now with Choice Hotels do you have to use points now or can you make reservation and use points later? What I did this year was book, then when I had enough points I called Customer Service and had them switch part of the nights.

I just made reservations at the Days Inn on Arthur St....suppose to be 2-3 miles from Fairgrounds. I used my AAA discount for $76.46 a night for a king room. I think regular price is about $85.

I went back and checked the Days Inn at Fern Valley this morning. Rates today was $72.??. Yesterday they were $99.99. When I made my reservations they were $49.99 Mon - Thur and $69.99 Fri - Sat. I keep checking on rooms and I find better rates make another reservation and cancell the previous one. We stayed at the one on Arthur Dr., three years ago. Parking was a problem there and our room was kinda small, like the HJ on Preston.

ORIGINAL: frog43 I finally got to Meet DeeAnn, and I got to see Diana. I still haven't met Donna. One of these days. Santa introduced me to Sonya; and I saw Daniel and David Bruce Murray, but didn't get to talk to them. No a, just Sony. Got to have several chats with Sony and a couple with her Mom and sisters. Good, sweet family. Thank you so much, Santa! That means a lot to have you say that. I thoroughly enjoyed the time I was able to spend with you, and Mom and the girls were glad to meet you. It was nice to meet you too, Frog. I'm glad Santa introduced us or I wouldn't have known who you were.

I have always wanted to go...I have videos and DVDs and it looks awesome. It is very rare that teenagers listen to Southern Gospel, but my parents raised me on it. Going to NQC would be a dream come true, to be there with all of my artists...sounds great!

I was looking on the NQC website and it looks like the seats are being reserved pretty fast. What sections do you think have the best seats?

The first year I went, I got tickets from someone who had season tickets and couldn't go. They were in section 234 and they were TERRIFIC!!! We had oksgfan's tickets this year in section 16 on the floor right on the aisle and we really enjoyed them. I think the best sections are the top of sections 111, 112, 113, 133, 134, or 135 or anywhere in 211,212,213, 233, 234, or 235 but they're very hard to get. You can usually get individual tickets easier than two or more together and I think the best time to look is after February when the season ticket holders turn ones back in that they don't want (or don't pay for them).
