lightshineon -> Hip problems (9/13/2008 2:54:09 PM)

I exercise very hard, my hip (outer) the joint that connects with my hip, pops and snaps and cause pain. The pain is not overbearing, but hurts enough in my upper hip joint that it hurts to run the tred-mill, and even mop the floor it pops and snaps. I can kick my leg sideways and feel the jont pop. Anyone had this, before. What causes it? How did you heal it? I do not want to go to the doctor for this problem. I will if I have too, but, I just do not have time lately and though I have insurance I do not want the expense. My mom has RA, my great grandfather, and grandmother, and two aunts have died of RA. I guess maybe it all boils down to simple fear of having RA. I do not want to qiut the work-out either for my health sake. I know this advice is not from a physician, and I do not take it as such, but, maybe it is something simple. I am sure it is, and any advice is appreciated. Thanks[:D]
