My husband is being faced with people from my sinful past. How do I help him to still feel secure in our marriage? Does anyone know any verses in the Bible to point out?

Your question is too vague to offer any meaningful input. Could you be a little more specific in what the two of you are dealing with? Are you referring to your husband having insecurities over ex-flames you have been involved with?

Reassure him, respect him, and let him know he's the most important person in your life.

In this situation verses from the Bible will not help. He needs to know that people in your past are just there ... in the past.

You need to convince him that you do not/will not keep in communication with those people.

Welcome, mrsjj. Hopefully your situation has resolved. In addition to what others have said, when i am in a sticky situation i try to remember to Pray and Praise the LORD.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)

I pray in the name of Christ Jesus for your husband's heart to be filled with understanding and kindness and to realize this is in your past not present. May this experience bring your marriage closer for the Glory of GOD.

How is he being faced with people from your past? Are you being faced with people from his?

If you aren't in contact with old flames he shouldn't feel insecure about
whom you WERE with in the PAST.

What bothers him about your old flames?
Are these men trying to cause trouble by
trying to pursue you?
Are they telling stories about you to him?

maybe something like 1 cor 7 where it talks about wife not having authority over her own body, but her husband does. maybe something like that would ressure him. also cut off contact with these people unless there is a current present day need. i don't know the circumstances, but there's no reason for old flames to be friends on myspace if it's haunting as your title says
