beachcooky -> Mr. Rogers (9/12/2008 11:21:34 PM)

So I had the weirdest dream last night. But that's not unusual for me.

So Mr. Rogers called me on the phone. He said, "Is this Kaitlin?"
I replied, "Yes, yes it is."
Mr Rogers: Oh, I was wondering...do you want to be a guest on my show?
Me: Well, aren't you already dead?
Mr. Rogers: I was, but only for a short time.

HAHAHA. I like woke up sooo confused.

I knew he was a zombie. Zombies have a fetish for tacky sweaters.

Oh don't be fooled! Mr. Rogers only wore those sweaters to cover all of his tattoos on his arms!

Kind of odd to think of "Mr. Rambo" with a show on PBS in the early afternoon, eh?

There's a great book out there called The Simple Faith of Mr. Rogers. Maybe you're supposed to read it!! :-)

It's about how he was a strong Christian, but couldn't talk about his faith on PBS, so he would pray for the kids watching the show, that maybe something he said might help them. Kinda cool.

Urban myth, and absolutely not true. Fred Rogers was never in the armed forces. He was, in fact, a Presbyterian minister, given special commission to do ministry in children's television.
