APZR -> RE: Paint comments... (9/13/2008 4:31:26 PM)

First of all, I buy the trim that has already been primed. So once up, we sand and spray all of the trim. Then that's done, finished. Now for the walls... have 3 guys who do nothing but tape up the trim while you start spraying primer. It'll take them about 10 min to do one room, then you can start and they should be able to stay ahead of you. Once all is primed and dry, sand the walls. Then spray first coat, sand again, then spray final coat. It will take you about 15 min to an hour to sand all of the walls between each coat, but that's the only... ONLY way to get a nice smooth professional paint job. This process with 4 guys, including waiting for 24 hours for the paint to dry, takes us 3 to 4 days.
