Anyone who listened to Rush today doesn't get to play ;) You are all on the honor system, so no cheating! quote: RUSH: Somebody just sent me an interesting little ditty here in the e-mail, ladies and gentlemen. It's entitled, "'Who am I?' I'm under 45 years old, I love the outdoors, I hunt, I am a Republican reformer, I have taken on the Republican Party establishment, I have many children, I have a spot on the national ticket as vice president with less than two years in the governor's office. Who am I?"

I don't get how conservatives can criticise Obama for being inexperienced and then defend Palin by saying some of the greatest presidents in history (such as Teddy Roosevelt) had very little experience also. McCain centred his campaign around experience. Now that he has a running mate, his campaign is centred around change. And conservatives have the nerve to call Barack Obama a flip-flopper. Either experience matters or it doesn't. Make up your mind.

I personally don't see lack of experience as a negative anyway. Our founding fathers never intended for our nation to be run by career politicians. You were to serve your time, then go back to your private life. Not climb your way up the political corporate ladder.

Wow, liberals are so bitter. They can't stand the thought of a lighthearted thread and have to bring their gloom here as well. No wonder studies show liberals to be less happy in life than conservatives.

Would Apple replace Steve Jobs with someone who has little to no experience? That may sound silly, but so does getting someone with little to no experience to run a super-power nation and one of the greatest countries in the free world. Short and sweet, many people want to vote for Obama simply because he is black and they believe that voting for him will atone for the sins of their fathers.

Either experience matters or it doesn't. Make up your mind. It isn't very hard to look up TR's bio before writing that he was inexperienced, which is entirely not true. Experience does matter, but there is no recipe for finding a good president. Let's face it, both Obama and Palin are inexperienced.

He also left the GOP and ran a third party presidential bid (Progressive or Bull Moose Party). So, perhaps we can look forward to Gov. Palin's progressive ideas. Platform of the Bull Moose Party: True to Roosevelt's progressive beliefs, the platform of the party called for major reforms including women's suffrage, social welfare assistance for women and children, and worker's compensation. The party also wanted an easier method to amend the constitution.
