I would love to take our own pictures, I just have to suck it up and buy a decent camera. Our current "point and shoot" just isn't cutting it anymore. I have my eye on THESE, got any tips? We take tons of spontaneous pictures now, but for ones that are getting mailed to everyone I prefer to have them professionally done.

Jessica that is a cute story! I agree about the studio photo thing. Its not mine and hubby's thing. We both don't like photos and I prefer to just be natural and take pics of whatever is happening. Although I would let Chelsea take some pics of us

Kim, my mom's employer had a diapers & wipes party for her 3rd baby. She already had one of each, so diapers were the a way to go. I have so many girly clothes from my awesome SIL, and I'm getting a reclining swing lent to me, that what I mostly need is diapers myself. We're reusing the crib, Nathan is moving to a twin that we already own, but we're buying a guard rail and shoving it into a corner of the room. He'll be able to get on and off from the foot of the bed, so it should be safe, even if it isn't a toddler bed. We already have bookshelves for his room. I have fabric for curtains and pillows. All we'd like to have is a dresser for clothing storage, maybe a toy box and a little table with chairs for him and a friend to sit at. My baby is growing up!

Neither of us are huge on goals, though there are some things I'd like to accomplish eventually. I keep changing my mind though, so tomorrow the list might be different. *Write a book (and get it published ) *Record an album (though this one, not so much anymore) *Adopt a baby from S. Korea *Finish making over this tiny house so we can buy a bigger one *Find something that works to fix my stupid anxiety disorder, and finally... *Possibly foster and/or adopt older children or a sibling group... basically, give a home to some children that are hard to place. A year ago I would have thought this would never be something I'd want to do (for real, I'd be happy with one or two kids and I thought three would be my absolute limit), but recently it's really been on my heart. We were talking about it tonight, and we're thinking about making plans for it someday when our first one (or two if we're lucky enough to afford to do this again) is/are older. I'm not sure I'd want to disrupt birth order, so I'm thinking if this goal sticks with us, maybe 7-10 years down the road. Good grief, that will make us almost 40. 40 is waaaaay too old to be thinking about more kids, right Jeanie?? Those are the biggies. I have smaller things I'd like to accomplish regarding my business and other such things.

Jessica, I so think you couldmake money from photography. You are creative, and I love the pics you take and how you make them black n white but leave one thing colored. That is cool. Crystal, you have such a big heart, I really hope your dreams for adoption and fotering come true. -When the kids are out, I want to go to truck driving school and be a husband/wife truck driving team with my hubby. -Wanna start a savings account -Wanna be a size 14 again -Wanna buy a house

I think I might be the person Sandy blocked, and I am not kidding. Please tell her I wish her well, and I mean that sincerely and lovingly, not sarcastically. I blocked someone once, but it wasn't worth it..it always made the dialogue make no sense, and I kept clicking unblock to read their posts anyway. Plus, I realized I was only temporarily upset with that person, and they weren't a bad person, and now I enjoy posting back and forth with that person. I hope someday Sandy will want to unblock me (if, I am, in fact, the person blocked).

Hey Ladies, I am on vacation the rest of the week! However something is desperately wrong with my computer, so I'm taking it in today to see if they can fix it. I need help with something though...can you look at this and tell me what you think, I'm just not sure about it? I miss you all muchly... Today friends of ours are coming over and we're taking the kids into the farm to see the cows and kittens, it should be a fun day.

Ruth, I would have been defensive at first too but then after I got over it, agreed. A lady accidently called me one day (she had the wrong Tammy T.) and said she was supposed to come clean my house. I immediately assumed a family member had hired her without my knowledge and got a bit defensive about it. But after I got off the phone, I thought, "That would be a really nice gift!" LOL Rachel, I wonder if the reason why Josie didn't do very good this time around is because she was on a platform instead of the floor. I MUCH prefer the way Sears does it (on the floor). Also, it seemed like all the pictures were taken at an angle. I'm just soooooooo not happy with WM! Yolanda, that's what both of mine looked like that I took when I was pregnant! Congratulations!!! Good for you, Donna! Erin, I STILL haven't been able to fit in my jeans. All my other pants but not my jeans...and she's almost 10 months!

Yolanda- Yippee! 8 months and you'll be back here full time!!! Have I told you that my daughter wants to be you? No idea where it is coming from, but for the last month, she's been telling me that when she grows up she wants to be a fire fighter first, then a mama Are you sending subliminal messages via my computer? (Hopefully she will do that in whatever town we land in so I can be a hands on grandma!!) We have been super busy lately, running around, school, etc. MOnday we went to the zoo and I came home sooooo sore- this baby is sitting differently than the other ones, so I have a lot more aches and pains, but fortunately a heating pad/rest makes them go away pretty quickly, so it is still way better than the first 6 months! Oh well, Anna's calling.... Oh, has anyone used those "wall stickers" on a textured paint wall? My hubby is worried they won't stick, I think he's nuts (it is a very "shallow" texture, not like ****lies sticking out or anything...)
