I was saved 2yrs ago this past May. I have gotten completly away from God. I speak the way I used to, gave into lust and just have a neg attitude about everything. I want to get back to him, feel his presence in my life again. I dont know if its the Devil or if its true have I gotten to far away? I ask for forgiveness and turn right back to sin, its like something just takes over. Please pray for me and help me if any of you have been here before.

You havent got to far away. The Lord has been with you watching over you and knows everything about you.He even knows why you are doing what you do. He also has everything you need to change your life. He knows we have all messed up sometimes. He is waiting for you to come back,He loves you.

Dear Heavenly Father I pray for searching tonight.
Lord I pray that you will help her/him through this battle.
I pray that you will give searching the strength and commitment to go forward with you.
I pray Lord you will protect and keep her/him in your loving and forgiving arms.
Lord I ask you to meet them right where they are tonight.
Comfort them and help them as they turn to you for change in their life.
Lord I pray you will give guidence and direction as you restore them.
Heal the hurt and pain they have brought into their life and renew their hope and faith.
Lord I pray that searching will open her/his heart to you and continue to desire a relationship with you.
I pray Lord and thank you for searching and all the plans you have for her/him.
I pray Lord that you will continue to draw them nearer to you each day.

Lord, plesae be with Searching4Him963 at this time. Please remove the negativity that has taken over him. Remove that negative spirit from him and give him a positive spirit that is filled with hope and joy. Remind him that, through his faith in Jesus Christ, all of his sins are forgiven by the penalty that Christ paid for us upon the cross. Strengthen him spiritually and minister to him through your word so that he might grow closer to you in his life. Bless him for his faithfulness and protect him from further schemes that the devil might use to sway him back into sin.

Lord, we thank you for the gift of salvation that you gave to us through your Son, Jesus Christ. All of us are sinners and stray away from you from time to time, but you gently call us back and forgive us our sins with eternal mercy. Blessed are you, Lord God. Because of this, I pray in all humility and thankfulness for these things for Searching4Him963 in the Blessed Name of our Holy Savior, Jesus Christ.

Father, thank You for loving Searching. Thank You that You are always right there waiting for us to turn back to You. For Your unfailing love and Your willingness to forgive us. Place a burning desire in Searching's heart to spend time in Your word, growing in You. And a desire to talk to You and praise You. A desire to go to bible studys, church, places that will remind him of Your love for him. Help him to draw close to You in all things, and we thank You and praise You. In Jesus name. Amen

Lord, we ask that You would encourage this one with a perfect peace to rest in You, to know the work You did on the cross is sufficient and complete. Help him to find the peace of You and You alone, knowing that You grant us the power to walk and live in victory, in Christ Jesus we pray.
